Agree this stuff stinks not much came off the St wheels as they where hit with 2 aplications of megs wheel brightner

but was shocked with the amount of iron on the paintwork even after the car garage polished the car and I used tardis in a pre wash before the clay stage

Its hard to see in the pics but theres lots of purple dots and eventually my drive was purple lol

now even after tardis and iron x your paint still holds contaminents which clay needs to be used

this is just the roof

Quick tip (for all iron contamination removers)

Once you have cleaned you wheels, spray the product onto your brush (I use Envy Brush) and work it into the corners with that, you will save product but it will still work in the same way.

Just ordered some Iron X to try after reading all the positive results, is it just spray on and leave then rinse off or does it require bit more 'agitation' so to speak?

Spray on and leave get rid of loads but a bit of agitation goes a long way to shift the stibborn bits.
Good tip with the spray on brush

Interesting feedback.

I've got both Iron X and Wolf's De-Con .

Wolfs smells better and takes more time to work yet Iron X as bad as it smells (and lets face it what flowers smell like that!) it's a bloody good product.

I'm going to e giving my car her annual treat of
a full wash down
snow foam/apc
Iron X
Clay Bar
Tardis

Remove Wheels
Deagrease and treat arches, lower arms etc

Wash down wheels in Blackfire wheels cleaner, treat with some Iron X or Wolfs then polish wheels Gtechics P1 or alike, seal, wax and finish off with some Megs Last Touch.

Then back to the car
The two stage Blackfire polishes
Seal
Wax
Leave again for 12 -24 hours then spray sealant again.

Thats the plan again anyway. lol

Just used it during my mega clean and real pleased with results, bitter diffult to see color change on a black car but good results and didn't think it smelt too bad.

always worth doing on older cars, if you think your car is clean, it wont be till you use iron x / purple rain / wolfs decon gel, youll certainly notice the difference afterwards
