personally i am offended at the way my tax's are wasted on passengers from other countries . i am also offended by the amounts of money some people are paid to do meaningless job's (street football saftey officer) i **** you not a local council advertised that job in the dail fail , i am also offended by the way people from other countries living here in our once great country refuse to live by our rules of society . but hey say a word and you are branded racist. personally i find that offencive as well , the opinion police will take over this country in the end and we will not be allowed one for fear of offending someone

I agree with Stephen Fry: it's the perceived entitlement to some form of contrition implicit in many who say "I'm offended" that is irritating.

If you want to say that something offends you, fine, but don't expect that the culprit HAS to do something about it. They may choose to based on a number of factors including the position you hold in their esteem, the perceived appropriateness of what they said on reflection etc... but equally they may choose not to!

As for people who are offended on behalf of someone else ..... f*ck right off! If you don't have the *****/ovaries to stand up and be counted for your opinion on something, then don't presume to do it on someone else's behalf!

And as for imagration I feel our country is letting in far to many immigrants
With little or no skills and without a trade.
I would be happy with people coming into the UK that have a skill or trade
And no criminal record.
But out of the the people I know that have moved to the UK few of them are skilled and at least 3 of them have
Been to prison and one of them was in prison for five years in his home country !
but the government is so soft we let people like this into the Uk.

It might certainly be very difficult to know how badly you have actually offended anyone in such a case.

I nevertheless think that in most cases it would be fairly easy to assess whether what you have said or done has actually annoyed someone.

I have always found that avoiding the situation is best if you dont want to cause a problem. Its called "tact."

ok the figures look them up 27.5million pounds alone leaves this country in child benefit . paid to foreign workers every week . every foreign worker earning £1250 per month or there abouts will be paying about £135 per month in tax ,. however if he/she has 3 children back home (doesn't need to prove it either as no checks are made) they will recieve £185 approx every 4 weeks in child benefit, can you see where this is going ???? the country is in a minus the moment they get a national insurance number . if and it is if they stay a full year they can then claim childrens tax credit as well ( about 600quid every 4 weeks for 3 kids ) another big minus . then if they don't stay the full year and chose to go home for a few weeks before april , guess what they get all thier tax back . now to think that this is in any way good for our country you need to be a tory mp or a liberal donkeyocrat (so which is it ??? ) there is of course another option you live in the country and have to much money to be bothered and probably employ one as a gardener and one as a nanny. not being rude mate it's just that i find it very hard to understand how cheep labour benefits this country , apart from to line to pockets of big buisness people and the mp's who probably have shares in said companies. as for the oversea aid bit ime all for it educate them send them free condoms , as my old mum said son IF YOU CAN'T FEED THEM DON'T BREED THEM . the rest is just bribes to carry on doing buisness with us as a country
