, despite running smooth +having a brand new turbo fitted 200miles prior , 126.* RWHP iirc....VERY laugh-able,,,,, It was a good day none the less, we all had a good laugh,,,,,

I've gone through this thread and I am shocked.
Why would he after two times have given up on getting said car sorted and lived with it? I have little know how with spanners and if it was me I be too paranoid it would go really bad unless it was 100% perfect.
What is the bigger crime is your "friend" who sold you the car , knew full well it was not right and because he was either , too lazy , too stupid or lying through his high teeth and passed the buck onto you.
You buy a "duff" car and then start a personal vendetta against the mapper.
Also not the brightest of things making new forum accounts so you can back your own bumpkin logic up.
I don't care who you or the mapper is in this thread , what I can't stand is people trying taint and ruin someone's livelihood with some proper keyboard warrior troll king antic.

he will not accept/acknowledge or deny any of the things i have mentioned.

He's only confirmed he was there and his S13 (yellow one) was pushing out below what he'd hoped for! You posted a pic of a car in the car park, any pics on the rollers? Or videos maybe?

my mate bought the car,i went with him when he bought it,we both spoke to the owner and he said of the problems hed had etc.
my mate had the car 3 weeks and then sold the car to me,engine is in the same condition as when it was purchased.
i have no vids of the s13 on the rollers as its not my car.
as alan says more photos of our carpark
does that mean that you admit it was there then and not a complete statement of fiction after all??

When I have spoke/emailed/pm'd Alan he has been extremely helpful. I wish he was on my doorstep. I agree with eggy, either shut up or go and see if Alan can help.

Re Nissan. I really couldn't care less if it's been in my car park or not.
We dyno test a lot of Nissans. Not all of them are tip top, especially some early S13's. That one was pictured there in 2008, presumably when you were 21 and three quarters.
We've had that dyno for six years. We recently had data storage problems as it turned out we've done 50,000 dyno runs. By my crap maths that makes the Nissan some 33,333 dyno runs ago.
Of course I remember it, you numpty.
Speaking in general terms this is how it goes;
A car with a good engine in top condition will not be damaged by a dyno run. If it was, we'd have 50,000 cars lying here with dead engines.
If the engine is hanging by a thread when it comes in, running it up isn't going to miraculously improve it now is it? We don't know anything about these cars until we come to test them and that's all we're doing on dyno days. Hey, it failed the test!
In the statistically unlikely event of an engine breathing it's last, I'd be assuming that's a good thing, as it certainly wouldn't have got him home.

How many cars were run on this rolling road day? Normally there wouldn't be anytime to map a car when theres a lot of power runs to do! If it did let go on the rollers then its because the engine was in a poor state beforehand!

Im yet to read or see any real proof of your claims. Your whole arguement seems based solely on hearsay !
You bought a car with problems. The seller told you it was a mapping problem and ET had done the work = hearsay
You tell us the car had not been touched by previous owners since the mapping, again hearsay.
You tell us other people you have spoken to say they are unhappy with ET yet offer no evidence of this. hearsay
Same with this car that went pop on the rollers. You can't tell us anything about this car and its issues yet lay the blame at ET's door because of what (somebody) told you. Hearsay.
Please show us evidence not what others have allegedly told you.

FYI we have an SX owner's club dyno day on soon, we've been having them here for years, and they are all great guys who know what it's about.

hearsay hearsay..is that all you have to say on the matter?
the engine on my car was not touched after aj mapped the car last year.and owners problems happened after car was worked on there,ie 2k for a simtek and injectors.
so if i meet a scooby owner in plymouth,whose selling me some parts and he tells me hes also had a simtek fitted at aj and had the same problems im not to believe him?
what does he stand to gain from telling me this info? nothing,makes no difference to him.
what more do you need to know about the s13 and its issues? it popped on the dyno after being pushed to far by the mapper,end of.
most businesses establish there name and get work through word of mouth,if youre friends had bad experiences at a garage,would you use said garage? doubtful..
and really after all this,what do i stand to gain from this?
my car isnt being fixed there (never asked)
everyone has pretty much sided against me
everyone can speak their mind,regardless of what company it is about.
if it is all so trivial,then why wont alan comment af any of these so called "stories" ive mentioned??
