Daz,

Will you be using the car for racing when done? Just a question as I did a similar thing to one of my race cars years back with the doors and was told by a scrutineer that I would not be able to race unless my cage had padded door bars and I had at least a drivers side door card fitted.

I've been experimenting with that very thing today.
After putting the drivers door back on I've managed to get one of the door cards to fit. It's tight as hell up against the door bars of the cage. So much so that the cards have dents in them from the cage. But they fit and the door shuts with them on so I may go with that option. Would love carbon door cards but i dont know whether the cage would crack them or not.
I hope to get the passenger door on tomorrow. That will be the test, if I can get both door cards on then they stay.

Any way, here's how it currently stands.

Going to put some fat 18's on it. 18x9.75 et25. Will more than likely be some XXR 527 in chromium black. I am looking at a few other options too.

Steve, im not 100% on the wing at the moment but it does go with the look of the car.

However i nearly put an add up offering it for a swap for a hi level STI 5/6 one. I still might as i have just enough paint left to do it.

A few people have asked me what I'm doing engine wise.

I've kept the engine from the old car as there's roughly only 1000 miles on it since it was rebuilt.

As a reminder here's what's in it.

Daz,
When you going to sort out your webhosting arrangements..... waiting for your images to load is like pulling my own teeth with a pair of rubber gloves!

The car is really starting to take shape now..... any "target" completion date, or are you just moving along with the intention that it will be ready when it's ready?

Much left to do now?

You have some serious drive doing this.... I would have thrown the towel in long time before!
