i bought this one, as a it said K line on it, but it looks like it's the same thing. i have a blobeye jdm.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Audi-VA...item35bb6cf650

anyway, i was able to pull info with it from romraider learning view no problems (see post #25 in this thread) i think you need ecuflash installed and the newest subaru definitions copied into its directory... all explained in the forum link.

didn't have the need to install romraider fully, as you can reset ECU and read fault codes from the learning view alone, but if it is to use as read-only, this cheap cable should work fine i think...

you need the expensive tactrix cable for making changes i believe.

just reset the ECU and got some major boost levels back

no FLKC values yet, but was only a 20 minute run or so.

there are some airflow changes, what do the negative values suggest? something under the bonnet not up to par? MAF? (wild uneducated guess)

it must take a while for it generate the FLKC values...

also - why does it now say IAM 16 instead of IAM 15

IAM 16 is what you are aiming for, this is the best state for IAM to be in.

AF learning negative values just mean that the ECU is taking some fuel out to trim AFR based on lambda sensor feedback, values upto +5 -5 are acceptable in my opinion. So nothing to worry about there.

FLKC can take some time to populate, but if the table is full of zero's then thats good, shows a good map as there is no knocking.

Compared to your previous learning view this one looks a lot nicer, did you run some lower octane fuel for a while ?? This could have caused the FLKC values and lower IAM that you saw.

to my knowledge there was no bad fuel in it, always use V power. but the car was out of my possession for a while, i wonder if the mechanics took it for a run and topped it up with crap... i was always suspicious about that.

thanks for your input, i will run it for a while see how it goes and run it through the laptop again. hopefully with boost won't regress again, good to have it back

Does sound like they might have put some 95ron in, glad its back to full health now. Like you say, check it again after some more running and see how it is.

Glad I could help

Get yourself the tuning guide over on the US forums (think it's either on Romraider forum or NASIOC's tuning section).

That has a very good step-by-step guide and you can pick up some nifty spreadsheets the yanks have created to help with tuning.

I did start down this road but didn't have the time to learn in the end so ended up selling my Tactrix cable

Think Jura may have posted the link to the guide at the top of your thread mate
