Is there a guide for fitting a 52mm gauge into the round heater vent?

I am sticking with my original idea and going with the harder work vent option

Sigh...........mine is a non-aircon 98 car, so the vents are as shown. Otherwise I might have done that.

Five gauges, yes:
Boost, oil-pressure and oil-temperature were done very early on.

Then, after a fatal engine failure, I did fuel pressure as with Defis yiou can link it to boost to show DIFFERENTIAL fuel pressure, ie: how much above boost the f/p is. It SHOULD remain constant, if all is working correctly, so I set the Defi alram for only 0.2 bar below it's normal point, and it gives me a beep if it falls below: another indication it might be running lean.

Saved my engine once already*

*Had a vacuum leak, the f/p gauge alarmed, found and cured the leak.
