Few words about the racizm. Why I said that? Because some of you for the answer my question: why you doing those fake widetruck archers said : speak English. It wasnt fair. You should grow up not me. Im not English of course, but some of you was talking with me in other tread and understund me perfectly.

Well there are reasons for us 'little boys' putting STI arches on the back of our WRX's you know, and personally it is not to replicate an STI but to match the bumper that I replaced my original one with. The OP, well I can't say why he's put them on his car but maybe it's because he wants them to suit his wider rims.
Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but ***** waving and posting pictures of items on your STI is being slightly provocative.
As for racism, I hadn't seen anything in this thread to say that you were anything but english so maybe the comments from other users was just trying to point out what you had written was a little difficult to comprehend.
Many thanks, and glad you like the WRX with the STI arches in the last picture posted on this thread.

I thought that when I read that reply I had to pay daft money for my arches from Subaru, did ring HT Autos at the time I bought them but they didnt make these at that time. looks good!! Iv finally got round to having my 05 bumper painted then, wide track here we come

That looks very good, i could of done the bumper to suite the arches and infact that would have been the easiest option but i want to keep the cars paintwork totally original, abit ocd i know what was the reasonfor the tow truck?

Got mine through a couple of days ago, just been out and offered one up to a wheel arch and the fit looks to be good, I already have the widetrack rear bumper as the missus destroyed the original and I got an 05 STI bumper cheap! (hence the need for these).
Did you spray them yourself or get them done at a body shop?, as wondering what primer was used. I sprayed my rear bumper myself, but only used U-Pol high build as the bumper was already painted so I didn't need to spray on to bare plastic. Nice job on the wedges by the way.
Which Subaru dealer sells these for £80 painted? over £200 painted for these at my local Subaru dealer, which btw tubbytommy would be your local Subaru dealer (for parts only) as well.

these come ready painted and 81 dollars = 51 pounds and the delivery is cheap quick and tracked.
they will fit correctly and the paint will match your car, also saves the cost on having the parts painted.
i have a narrow track sti and fitted these to my sti after i bought an 05 bumper.
if your going to do the job do it with the correct genuine parts
so there you go,not £127 plus vat, maybe people should do a bit of research before taking the p1ss.
this way is cheaper as they fit a1 and can be bonded on just like the ht ones if you dont wish to drill and you dont need to pay to get them painted them either or worse still bodge paint them with halfords rattle cans...
i drilled as per factory fitting as i have the skills do do this but feel free to pritt stick or selotape as you wish.
some people have been around subarus for more than six months and know what they are talking about

Just because they come pre painted dos'nt mean they'll match due to factory line colour variants, the pis take was you saying we could buy genuine for £80, YOU CANT! i did'nt want to wait for them to come from the states, i did'nt want oe because i wanted to put them on with double sided tape not drill or bond, i run a bodyshop so why would i pay to have them pre painted, the HT Autos ones are oe material and a very good fit and quality, i saved approx 75% with replicas against your price and i think you'd strugle to tell the difference ect ect
they are 81 dollars which is 52 of your uk pounds so yes YOU CAN BUY THEM FOR IN FACT WAY LESS THAN 80 POUNDS. i know this as i have done it and the paint matches a1, i also know this as i have done it.
im sure yours are great quality but cant comment as i havent seen them i merely replied to the keyboard warriors taking the p1ss saying you cant get them for less than £127 which i have just proved you can get them for £52 genuine and pre painted.
yes they take 2 weeks to arrive but that wasnt really much of a problem to me.
the fit finish and colour match looks factory to me so why bother risking it on aftermarket parts?
here is a close up anyone care to comment on colour match or fit feel free and for the record THEY COST ME £52 EACH AND ARE GENUINE SUBARU PARTS

not sure about another £25 on top as they are small parts and sent via dhl.
i didnt reply to this thread to say the ht auto ones the op has bought are either rubbish quality or expensive, i replied to offer an opinion about the genuine ones being of better value in my opinion as they are a factory fit and pre painted.
the op has his own bodyshop so painting is not a problem to him but for those of us who dont this is another cost on top unless you really want to do a rattle can job.
this is my opinion and if you think otherwise good luck to you and buy ht ones, which knowing the company will also be excellent quality.
this replies of you cant get them for less than £127 or im sucking of the parts man is par for the course from scoobynet of late.
its a forum for people to express opinions and help other owners, buy the ht autos ones or buy genuine ones from the us its your choice but i would make sure you are correct before laughing at people claims you can get them for £52 as when evidence is presented you will look very stupid.
i have owned several subarus over 9 years and have a little idea of what im talking about and dont post rubbish without evidence to back up my claims like some people.

I have followed the link above and isn't it $81.01 per side? This means obviously that both sides are $162.02 which currently equates to £103.00?
Plus obviously there are the shipping costs, customs clearance charges plus VAT as well.

i was merely replying to the keyboard warriors who said you couldnt get genuine new ones for less than £127 each, well i got a pair for £103.
i didnt get charged for customs clearance as they are small items.
i will dig out receipt later, it was as you say £103 for the pair plus shipping, which is for genuine pre painted parts which as said before by me is the way i would and did choose to go as i didnt need to paint them and knew the fit would be perfect.
you pays yah money you take your choice but if you look at my above pic you cant really fault either fit or colour match, not saying the ops dont look good either but i always prefer genuine parts which also goes for my roof vane i have, i have seen aftermarket versions of this, that are not alloy and sag in the middle and look awful.

Makes you think that either the parts from the USA are very cheap or that Subaru UK (IM) have a quite large profit margin built in to their parts.

ffs check the link out i cannot remember the exact price as it was a while ago all the prices are there for you to see.
as said above £106 plus shipping whaever that is i havent looked.
also the ht ones dont look genuine as they are rounded and the originals are square shaped, minor difference but not oem all the same.
buy them from where you want its your choice i have done the mod and am happy with price, colour and fitment.

Thanks I just wanted to clarify that, I know Black-Hawk quite well and I know that if the quality wasn't up to it then he would have no hesitation in sending them back.
Makes you think that either the parts from the USA are very cheap or that Subaru UK (IM) have a quite large profit margin built in to their parts.

the dealers in the uk are a rip off hence i use this company for my genuine parts and have done so for years as they ship quick and the saving is a lot over uk.
i was told about this place by another scoobynet member a few years ago which is what the forum should be about, helping other owners not to try and ridicule them when they are trying to help you or offer you an opinion.
personally i think the price of the genuine ones is good as they are already painted.

like i said the i have not seen the ops parts so cant comment on quality but i was merely posting to prove you can get them cheaper than £127 each and they are genuine stamped subaru and you can see the fit and finish from my picture.
