Like them but think they need a bumper section to compete simiar to STI bumper. Maybe an additional section so you dont have to get the STI bumper? If so i'd get some too. Look top! Quality job! :thumb:

BrownPantsRacing 16 February 2012 10:06 PM

Are they bonded on or do they require drilling?

chrishigham 16 February 2012 10:12 PM

Looks good.

I'd certainly be interested in a set of these then, all 4 pieces pre-sprayed to suit my car. Job done! Geat product. Needed these for years! lol

Good luck with the rest of the bits mate. Keep the pics coming! :thumb:

JonMc 16 February 2012 10:19 PM

Looks tidy, the just need to make a bit for the rear bumper and door to finish it off:norty:

Jimbob 16 February 2012 10:27 PM

Liking that, more bits for you to polish now!!

You can practice on mine when I get it back ;)

Looking good though Jarvis, but get some bigger calipers sorted out for the rear. :thumb:

Black-Hawk 17 February 2012 11:26 AM

It's well balanced, so why change it? I did think about 6 pots though :D

Where do they sell them for £80??? i priced them at a subaru dealer today and they are £127+vat each, unpainted, also with o,e arches you'll either need to drill your 1/4's or bond them on, i did'nt want to do either.

The question is- why spend money for these? To me it's non sense. I understand front, rear lips but those :freak3::wonder:.

Black-Hawk 17 February 2012 04:32 PM

Quick update, a work in progress of the wedges im making to go on the rear bumper,

Got mine through a couple of days ago, just been out and offered one up to a wheel arch and the fit looks to be good, I already have the widetrack rear bumper as the missus destroyed the original and I got an 05 STI bumper cheap! (hence the need for these).

Did you spray them yourself or get them done at a body shop?, as wondering what primer was used. I sprayed my rear bumper myself, but only used U-Pol high build as the bumper was already painted so I didn't need to spray on to bare plastic. Nice job on the wedges by the way.

Which Subaru dealer sells these for £80 painted? over £200 painted for these at my local Subaru dealer, which btw tubbytommy would be your local Subaru dealer (for parts only) as well.

I work in a bodyshop, you'll need to use a plastic primer, i just used a 1k multi plastic primer as the arches were very good quality, £80 my arse.

lol maybe tubby's arse rented out to the subaru parts guy in return for cheap parts :lol1:
Cheers for the reply, they are good quality, will only be using rattle cans as got excellent result with them on the rear bumper.

I am sure you know what I mean. You building some kind of replica and I'm just not an advocate of this. I'm sorry but this is just my opinion. Of course it's your money and you can spend them for whatever you like. I would go for STI instead of spending money on these kind of gadgets. Thats all
BTW I apologize for my language honorable lords.

You're obviously some kind of badge snob then I take it? :cuckoo:

Grow up will you, or a game of mines better than yours usually takes place on a school playground. :Whatever_
