Now, here goes, my car is out of the garage for a better look.
I bought a V5/6 front grill, but now I'm not sure if it's better than the V4 original one?!!!!
Any opinions anyone?

If the lower bits stay black then the door handles do work in black, good call
I need my photoshop installed ASAP so I can get a proper look with those bits all white and go from there

I've now fitted a black badge to the V5/6 grill and also bought smoked front bumper indicators (with silver bulbs) to match the front light set....

You'll see I'm also looking at where I'm going to place my front number plate too.

Cliff there's another plate option worth considering as well you can go for import size lettering which is a lot smaller than UK and then cut the front plate down to a sensible size around it, then I would mount it in the OEM place, you could angle it in at the base a touch to direct air flow down, yes it's a partial compromise on air flow but I feel it's where the plate works visually the best.

Si, that's pretty perfect, but I wouldn't know what sizes the letters are to order one? Do you know by chance?
Also, how did you cut the number plate and did you have to seal the edges?

This advert on eBay says 13" x 6.5" for the plate....

Here's a good one Cliff, import size letters on Kev's and on mine UK size.

Mine were never legal in many respects as a UK car but on an import you can legally go smaller, it's the direction I'll take on the RA as well. It's a bit of a minefield and you will read that some carry the dvla paperwork around with them incase they are stopped... Since I'm not in my 20's anymore I believe it aided me for once
I think looking quickly that's import size letters on this plate...

You could have a go cutting it, cover the face with masking tape, use a new jigsaw blade and you should be fine then tidy up with a file or sanding block or use wood clamped on as a guide maybe.

The ebay link to the plate is not quite right as it says the text is printed over 2 lines, but on another note, I think you're right about my plate in the photo above, I'm going to have a go at chopping it down

Right, I trimmed my number plate down from the above...... to this....

I need to make a couple of little brackets to hold it in place, but should be easy enough (it's only held on by tape for a looky-see in the photos)
