Roll Centre / Bump Steer mod - worth doing?
I am using the Apex extended ball joints with the std track rod ends & am not suffering from any tramlining or bumpsteer. But most of my suspension is aftermarket so may not be a definitive answer.
Update:
Next week I will be removing the Apex Hardrace extended ball joints to fully inspect and replace with the Super Pro Roll centre kit. (Ball joints and track rod ends). Soon after fitting they have not sat properly into the hub and on full lock tend to clonk and move. After almost a year of this and 1k miles I went to a specialist tuner today who found the extended ball joints moving up and down in hub. They are fully tightened but there is a lot of vertical movement which translates into sudden twitches in steering over bumps and on lock to lock. It could be wear and tear or incorrect initial fitting by different garage or bad batch? Will know more next week. But replacing with Super Pro kit just to make sure and need it sorted before track day at end of this month.

Yeah will know more next week. Apex said that they have not had any other issues with them.
I have ordered these below, just wondering if the track rod end will screw on easily enough or do the JDMs have a different sized thread or something!!?

I did consider Whiteline Jura but everyone seems to be selling their old stock which has had some quality issues. They do have a new designed, apparently better quality items that are on sale in US and Aus, but not sure if available here yet? These are the black painted Roll centre kit with yellow whiteline stickers. Super Pro have had very favourable reviews in US already so thought I would get the whole roll centre kit from them, not just extended ball joints.

I fitted superpro kit, after hearing similar stories on Whiteline quality control and poor resistance to corrosion etc.
That new black Whiteline kit looks sexy though

Hi Ricky
We have fitted this kit for around 4k miles and when we are removed this Roll Centre/Bump steer kit has been like new
Corrosion issue is more related to their ARB's or droplinks, what I've seen on this Roll Centre/Bump Steer kit doesn't suffer with this
New WhiteLine Black looks very nice

Ok so we removed the old Apex extended ball joints today & fitted the Super Pro Roll Centre kit. The Apex ball joints have worn out the hole in the hub very slightly but not a problem. This may be caused by the hard coilover suspension Im running but also mainly due to the inherent design of the Apex ball joint. It is in a shallow cone shape without a lower lip or edge for which the hub to sit on. There is no lower edge as in OEM & Super Pro design. With this edge the hub can locate and sit itself. Without it, the cone shape Apex ball joint seems to move up & down as you turn from lock to lock. You can feel this sudden movement in suspension and clonk. This may not happen to everyone that has fitted them, it may just be me? Since fitting new ball joints these issues have been fixed. (I did last week tel Apex to findout if there were any issues with these, but they said there were not)
