Not that I'm ever going to sell it!! 😜
Let me know about about MOT, guessing it will be trailered over so best to try and do when we have a bit of room in unit just in case there is anything needs doing rather than trailer back and forth...

Bit of an update!!!!!
I quite fancy the idea of solid engine mounts and having instant power without having to load up the crappy rubber bushes first so I've been doing a few little mods.
I've welded it up on 4 sides with some thick plate just to see how it feels before I get some alloy ones made up.

The gearbox mount was about as stiff as a bowl of jelly so I have filled the voids with some polyurethane window weld and its pretty tough now you can barely move it,should make quite a difference.

I've also knocked up a rear diff brace.

And treated myself to some whiteline drop links.

The radiator in the boot is slightly higher than the expansion tank in the engine bay so I've added an extra one in the boot to help bleed out trapped air and to fill the system easier.
I've had a nipple welded onto the alloy coolant pipe coming from the bottom rad hose and the new header tank is fed straight in.

I also had the issue of not having a scoop to cool the intercooler so I've fitted twin fans on top, they are really powerful there is no way this intercooler even going to get warm lol especially with the water spray on there too.

Today was the first test of the Peugeot on curborough sprint course and the car performed absolutely faultless I'm over the moon! Its so quick the power is instant there's no lag at all it literally spins up the wheels as soon as the boost comes in. I set the car up with the prodrive geometry setting and managed to get 5.5 degrees caster with my modified lower front arms the grip is awesome you can literally throw into the corners.

We also give my mates Maserati a good blast around the track its an absolute beast sounds amazing I will upload some more videos when I get chance.
I did something stupid and forgot to put the snap pins in the bonnet and it flew up and literally destroyed it so we drove the car most of the day with no bonnet on but the engine stayed nice and cool lol.

I'm going to start with a fresh loom, I've got a 99 Subaru dealer manual and the loom I have does have a few differences although it was from a 99 car but I don't know the history, I've wired it now the same as the manual but still no good so think it's time to start from scratch...

The plan has always been to start the build with a car that is really light weight so I wouldn't have to spend a **** load of money building a good engine and to be honest it's more than quick enough so for now I'm happy with it at least I know that there is a fair bit of weight to take out of it if I feel the need!!
