I didn't f**kng buy one, I just have to cater for the dipsh1ts at Apple that don't have a f**king clue about the real world and f**k Flash off into the stratosphere before there is a f**king replacement that actually works properly, who can't support WMV for some reason best know to themselves, who won't allow files to be downloaded off the web like any other tech company producing this **** and who can't even support f**king H264 consistently across their own devices while their marketing department who are obviously the brains of the compnay manage to convince millions to buy the piece of **** for twice the price it should be!!!!!

My client - a tech company with well over 100,000 staff, has a mobility division. Their view is that despite market wisdom, IOS is by far the best solution to work with.
Maybe you're just not a very good developer?

It's simple, easy to use, has a camera, internet and a few other things I don't use, this is all I want/need a phone for!

Like I said earlier I don't like Evos but I don't jump into every thread they come up in and whine about them like a little girl, people buy what suits them it's their money it's their choice.

I try not to post up on these Apple threads now, but as a happy Apple customer I do not like to be classed as a 'sap' or any other derogatory phrase that comes from your keyboard; so remember this pot, kettle and black.

You probably, like Dunko, think that I'm a ****.... which of course you are also entitled to think, but the reason for that is just because I have dared criticise the Holy Grail that is Apple and that is a frankly pathetic reason.
The omitted features and flaws I have ponted out are fact and at the end of the day Apple seem reluctant to mention them in their marketing literature... I am just redressing the balance

I really quite like the Ipad, think its great at what it does , we have them at work for eval and integration and have nearly bought one but am at a loss as to what I would use it for, have too many gadgets anyway, I had an Android tablet but it was toss.
A laptop is useful for work and can do most things better, like you can actually type on it, any dedicated games hardware is better as, lets face it touchscreens are crap for gaming apart from perhaps the touch based ones like Angry Birds, I live driving games and they are awful on the Ipad or any touch screen.
My phone does the business for most on the move things like the odd email, an Ipad is really too big to carry all the time, when travelling with work I wouldnt take another gadget as well as the laptop I have to carry so it gets left in the office.
I think really, it is an object of desire, all the hype, it looks fantastic and is a joy to use so I can totally see why they sell like they do but I think like all tablets, I cant see the point, even for web browsing, you have to hold it, my Dell laptop is about the same size and plugs into a docking station so can be used as a proper pc desktop replacement.
A lot of people seem to casually leave an Ipad round the living room, its like the modern coffee table book.
I agree though, if you must have a tablet despite them being a bit pointless, then its the only one really.

I know my forthright views on many subjects don't make me popular here, but I'd be selling myself out if I just wrote niceties all the time.... I just say what I think and if it upsets people then so be it.
What I will say is I never write anything without reason and logic behind it.... for example I could, like some, just say the iPad is crap, but I have at least backed up with facts as to why I think it is poor at doing the very thing most people claim to use it most for... web browsing.

The Galaxy Tab has Gorilla Glass so is extremely durable and scratch resistant. I don't have to worry about damage or anything getting into the keyboard when I go to the bathroom for instance......

I am provided with a laptop that is so unutteringly sh*t in every way that I leave it at home as a doorstop.
Indeed an iPad and a Macbook Air together weigh less than that piece of Wintel sh*te. I use my own kit through a gateway as performance is better no matter how you measure it!!
