Wouldn't of thought so mate no sensors that far down although in theory you should have it mapped for the decat but I'm sure there's loads running without mapping Nice car btw

It's the same exhaust I had on my jdm when I bought it magnex I think but it is just centre and back box so won't effect anything cel wise. You need to get a prodrive 2nd cat delete pipe, inter cooler hose and panel filter. Possibly a fuel pump for safety then a remap. If you want a little more then also get a sti decat up pipe as it will increase spool and your one remaining down pipe cat will pass mot ok.i had an 03 wrx and at that level of tune was very good although I also added sti brembos on the front along with sti wheels and a white line rear rollbar. The modding don't stop once you start, they also look good with sti front winglets and twisted side skirts. Best of luck with it hope it gives you some pleasure

Thanks. Was only gonna stick on the box for now for a bit more noise cause it's still got the standard system on just now. I do plan on buying a decent exhaust soonish this is just a sorta temporary fix

Was back to the dealers today getting my suspension looked at since its still knocking. Mechanic took it out on a run and it was just typical that it wasnt knocking much so was just told to see if it gets any worse.

Also went in by polished bliss on the way home and managed to spend £75 on a snow foam lance and snow foam. Foamed it earlier but its still filthy. Will wash it proper at the weekend if its not raining.

My old hawk had it, the hole that it, think it is to stop the build up of air pressure when at high speed and it ripping off the bumper!

Right guys looking for advice/opinions on a exhaust. Looking for a catback system that's of decent quality & gives off a bit of noise but not to bad at 70/80ish.

Pretty much a choice of 3, Hayward and Scott, Blitz nur spec or a cobra sport.

Finally chose a exhaust which arrived today. Went for a cobra sport cat back with a 4" inward rolled box and a second decat pipe. Got the centre section and the rear box fitted today but it just doesnt seem to sit right. Any tips on what can be done to get it to sit in the centre of the exhaust cut out in the bumper?

Also need a new lambda sensor for the decat pipe as the old one isnt going to come out of the cat

Pic of how its sitting atm. Excuse the dirt

Does look a bad fit, you should take it up with whoever supplied it. Iff you put up with it it,ll allways be in the back of your mind. I had a scorpion suzuka fitted and it is perfectly alligned with the cut out. Nice looking car by the way. I would put on sti fog covers and not winglets and keep the wrx spoiler for the group n look.

I got it supplied direct from cobra sport. My mate has a cobra system to and fits fine. It's also rattling off something underneath to, think it could be off the heat shield. Getting it looked at tomorrow morning. Hopefullly it fits correctly tomorrow cause the standard exhaust just fell apart while taking it off.

Yeah i quite like the little spoiler. Not got much planned looks wise really.

Managed to get the exhaust to fit better now. Also today i picked up a set of Rota formula mesh alloys

New rear shocks getting fitted tomorrow aswell but noticed the rear tyres are pretty worn on the inside edge, a front cv boot is leaking and theres a bit of play in one of the front arb links so going to see what the garage i bought it from say about it tomorrow.

Also got it washed today but was minging again 5 mins later
