Default My white blobeye wrx

Hi. Should hopefully be picking this up in the next few days. Completely standard with 48k on the clock. Things really quite...for now . Only pics i have just now. How rare are they in white cause i dont think iv seen much white ones going about?

Very nice mate, I think white newage wrx's are pretty rare as you nomally see Sti's in that colour.

I have got a white bugeye wrx and haven't seen many others in the same colour though there are a few white Sti's

Looked on autotrader etc to and couldnt really find any. Had a shot of my mate's hawkeye wrx and decided i needed one haha. Seems more fun than my audi anyway

It was the same when I was looking. I missed out on one white wrx and mine turned up a few weeks later. I had a 14hr round trip to Dumfries but was worth it.

What plans have you got for it?

tbh i never really set out for a white one in the first place. Was just by chance i found it on autotrader last friday. Had only went up that day then i went to see it on the sat and bought it as soon as i seen it i wanted it haha.

Not much plans for it just now, would like it to be a bit louder. Fancy gettin a front splitter to and next year maybe get some rota drifts. Can you reccomend a decent panel filter?

Nice Rex mate, I've certainly never seen one in white. Go for a green cotton panel filter bud, one of the best imo. I started off with exactly where you have, first to go was the back box and replaced it with a ninja 2, brings instant smiles! I got all my parts from Scoobyworld, great bunch of guys and good prices on parts to. Good luck with it!

I have got a k&n filter in mine running 340bhp.

I was looking for either a white or black newage, nearly bought a black blobeye but the guy was being a pain in the rear. Lucky really as white was always my first choice.

I was just thinking today how i wish my blob was white! great colour for the impreza imo, id always thought it was only the spec c blob that were white tho?

Cheers for the comments guys. Was the white that done it for me. Looked at a cosworth one earlier and a green.

Did you just change your backbox Kedlestone or go for a full system. Might just go for a backbox just now then a system next year, dunno if its worth it tho for a few months

Welcome, and a very nice find there. Get all your bits together you would like and then fit all at the same time and then a remap is my advice mate. Buy your bits over a few months then and only have to pay for remap once.

Will it affect it that much if i put on a filter and exhaust with no remap? Not to clued up on impreza's and whats good and whats not for them

Cat back exhaust will be ok without remap and a cotton replacement panel filter will also be ok although you would have good results with a remap.

Picked this up this morning. Love it. Only thing is tho there's a knocking coming from the rear of the car now and again when going over bumps sometimes. Anyone got any idea's? Was thinking might be a spring but then read it could be the shocks

Does sound like it could be the shocks but I would check to see if the jack is loose in the boot and also check the jack handle and spare wheel. Always check the cheapest option first

will take them out tomorrow and try that. The garage i got it from did say any problems just take it back. Need to go back to get the docs for it and get my plate on so will get them to have a looky

Couldnt have been better tbh. Never thought twice about letting me take it for a run before knowing i was keen on it. Even gave me some money back today cause the tax is almost out

Phoned them about the suspension and they said next time im back in they will get it looked at then fix whatever's wrong. Washed it today tho and noticed on the front bumper at the bottom there's no mesh grill or anything, is there supposed to be? Also above the rear number plate in the bumper theres a fair size of a hole been cut so will need see what they say about that to.

Things a nightmare to keep clean

Mesh is an option so not something you'll necessarily have. As for the hole in the rear bumper, is this the rectangular hole above the number plate where the lights are; if so its normal
