Very nice mate, I think white newage wrx's are pretty rare as you nomally see Sti's in that colour.

I have got a white bugeye wrx and haven't seen many others in the same colour though there are a few white Sti's

Martyn19 10 November 2011 08:24 PM

Looked on autotrader etc to and couldnt really find any. Had a shot of my mate's hawkeye wrx and decided i needed one haha. Seems more fun than my audi anyway

martin850 10 November 2011 08:31 PM

It was the same when I was looking. I missed out on one white wrx and mine turned up a few weeks later. I had a 14hr round trip to Dumfries but was worth it.

What plans have you got for it?

Martyn19 10 November 2011 08:36 PM

tbh i never really set out for a white one in the first place. Was just by chance i found it on autotrader last friday. Had only went up that day then i went to see it on the sat and bought it :lol1: as soon as i seen it i wanted it haha.

Not much plans for it just now, would like it to be a bit louder. Fancy gettin a front splitter to and next year maybe get some rota drifts. Can you reccomend a decent panel filter?

craigyp 10 November 2011 08:41 PM

Green, k-n, cosworth,etc etc :)

Kedlestone 10 November 2011 08:42 PM

Nice Rex mate, I've certainly never seen one in white. Go for a green cotton panel filter bud, one of the best imo. I started off with exactly where you have, first to go was the back box and replaced it with a ninja 2, brings instant smiles! I got all my parts from Scoobyworld, great bunch of guys and good prices on parts to. Good luck with it!

martin850 10 November 2011 08:49 PM

I have got a k&n filter in mine running 340bhp.

I was looking for either a white or black newage, nearly bought a black blobeye but the guy was being a pain in the rear. Lucky really as white was always my first choice.

IMPORTPETE 10 November 2011 08:53 PM

Very nice mate whites the fastest colour to

djandyg 10 November 2011 08:56 PM

I was just thinking today how i wish my blob was white! great colour for the impreza imo, id always thought it was only the spec c blob that were white tho?

Anger 10 November 2011 08:59 PM

White FTW :D

Martyn19 10 November 2011 09:04 PM

Cheers for the comments guys. Was the white that done it for me. Looked at a cosworth one earlier and a green.

Did you just change your backbox Kedlestone or go for a full system. Might just go for a backbox just now then a system next year, dunno if its worth it tho for a few months

L&G.scooby 10 November 2011 09:21 PM

Welcome, and a very nice find there. Get all your bits together you would like and then fit all at the same time and then a remap is my advice mate. Buy your bits over a few months then and only have to pay for remap once.
Enjoy your new scooby.

Martyn19 10 November 2011 09:33 PM

Will it affect it that much if i put on a filter and exhaust with no remap? Not to clued up on impreza's and whats good and whats not for them

+1

;)

Cat back exhaust will be ok without remap and a cotton replacement panel filter will also be ok although you would have good results with a remap.

Martyn19 10 November 2011 09:51 PM

ok. Will most likely end up remapping it at somepoint

Hello and welcome to the White blobeye club!

JonMc 11 November 2011 06:53 PM

Tidy, the colour of the wheels really suit:thumb:

Shaks-STI 11 November 2011 08:40 PM

nice car mate

Martyn19 12 November 2011 08:13 PM

Picked this up this morning. Love it. Only thing is tho there's a knocking coming from the rear of the car now and again when going over bumps sometimes. Anyone got any idea's? Was thinking might be a spring but then read it could be the shocks

martin850 12 November 2011 08:19 PM

Does sound like it could be the shocks but I would check to see if the jack is loose in the boot and also check the jack handle and spare wheel. Always check the cheapest option first ;)

Martyn19 12 November 2011 08:23 PM

will take them out tomorrow and try that. The garage i got it from did say any problems just take it back. Need to go back to get the docs for it and get my plate on so will get them to have a looky

martin850 12 November 2011 08:38 PM

It is a common fault on imprezas, nice to see you found one of the descent dealers left. Keep us posted.

Martyn19 12 November 2011 08:56 PM

Couldnt have been better tbh. Never thought twice about letting me take it for a run before knowing i was keen on it. Even gave me some money back today cause the tax is almost out :luxhello:

Martyn19 19 November 2011 08:52 PM

Phoned them about the suspension and they said next time im back in they will get it looked at then fix whatever's wrong. Washed it today tho and noticed on the front bumper at the bottom there's no mesh grill or anything, is there supposed to be? Also above the rear number plate in the bumper theres a fair size of a hole been cut so will need see what they say about that to.

Things a nightmare to keep clean :lol1:

TurboAndy 19 November 2011 08:55 PM

Very nice mate. Welcome to the White Blobeye club.

JonMc 19 November 2011 08:55 PM

Mesh is an option so not something you'll necessarily have. As for the hole in the rear bumper, is this the rectangular hole above the number plate where the lights are; if so its normal:thumb:
