Steve Jobs v. The Catholic Church
#31
Jobs was a brilliant designer and businessman and the computing world owes a lot to his talent.
Belief in the concept of an all powerful being, and the different ways of human behaviour because of that was the origin of civilisation and the acceptance of a type of society.
We see the dangers to that society in in the actions of selfish people who have no regard for others because of the increase of secularism in the world and thus they revert to the law of the jungle.

religion of all kinds has helped people at certain times in there life, its also hurt many many many more imo - and i hate it in all its forms.
but to my mother who died recently of agonising cancer over 8 months, bed ridden, paralysed, unable to communicate and in sever pain no amount of morpine could counter act she found a little solice in it, in her last days,
so if it helps some during parts of there life so be it.
techology and religion cannot be compared imo - both have such different applications(way hey) in life its non comparable.
