I found out yesterday that all TV's have LG compenents - what does that tell you?

I asked the same Q and was told plasma was better for xbox - I was also told that a plasma is like the V8 as aposed to the 2litre (cleaner engine) I know what I want.. the fuel guzzler baby...

A lot of the downsides to people's set ups is they have their picture settings all wrong.
Samsung LED / Sony LCD .. even panny LCD all leave artifacts trails when displaying fast motion.

The trouble is once you spot it, it becomes second nature,

Another one to highlight it us due to the fact that the way many dvd / bluray films are encoded, they only display within a frame the data that changes, so if you have a facial close up, only the data frame to frame that give changes is displayed. once you spot the seam between moving and static data it bugs the hell out of you...

On a plasma its seamless, lcd / led the transition isn'y as smooth, so you see the transition / artifacts

Part of me would say that if you are seeing artifacts, your TV is too big for your viewing distance.

I'd have to agree with that on my sony bravia lcd, but it only seems to happen on BBC HD channels, others are fine.
