Great response Ross, shame people can't read the thread to get this info.

Am interested on the response about Immy's status as a trader?

Can the project thread be unlocked and left for Ross to update as and when it's fully back on the road. I promise I won't say anything about Immy!

I find it vey strange how a few days ago you only needed to cough on here & someone was jumping on your post to either delete it or give you an infraction.

However Ross has taken the time to post responses to the questions asked and yet there isn't a single squeak from the Mods?

IMHO their silence speaks volumes..............................

Im ran off and is nowhere to be seen

This will never go away, would be good business IMHO to settle it ££££ and move on with a clear conscience. Write it off as marketing budget

Seriously, does anyone think goading the mods and Immy, will get Ross a result?

Makes business sense though. We do a lot of trackdays and meet a lot of monied car buying people online and at events. Everyone I meet at every opportunity will get to know about Ross' misfortune which overtime will be bad for business Something multiplied by the number of people that have seen the mess in Ross' engine bay is something I'd want to mitigate with a mutually beneficial financial solution.

It goes away with a little give and take, simples

Well, I for one have stopped goading (at least on the subject of Ross's car ) and feel that the 'Admin' should see fit to open Ross's Shafted thread again, and any Immy baiting from outside sources to receive an infraction would be fair (within the thread).

I feel the more people that see the poor way that Ross has been treated will not serve as a good marketing tool for said 'Dealer', even if he does throw the ...' Is it the same engine' into the equation as most people will have common sense and see past this.

So, could the 'Project Shafted' thread please be re-opened on these kind of terms ?

Thanks

Where was I? : In Bed!

Inbetween then and now I have sleep, work, lunch, tea, chill out time and this lot.

I aim to get stuff on SN done within 24hours (unless pending response from others). So sorry if thats not quick enough.

So based on that, I'm actually within 12 hours - which is half that time.

Of course you could try and get another mod to deal with this, but there is no guarantee that they'd do it any faster. The fact I'm the only one currently keeping tabs on this thread means that you will have to go out your way to make it known to them.

I'll copy the post over in a 'mo.

Just to add some of the answers aren't exactly factual. Which IMO doesn't help things.

BTW: These questions are not for my benefit, as I still will not take a side in all of this. This is mainly for those who do read it where it cuts to the chase of what is a long-winded dialogue of counter arguments between buyer and seller.

If people are to lazy or stupid to read the thread properly then more fool them IMHO. Moreover if they then form an opinion with which they wanted to air they couldn't anyway so who cares really

What PCM needs to do is start dialogue that doesn't involve blatant lies and accusation by answering the questions Ross has quite easily and honestly answered

We really could do with the 'like' and 'Thank' function enabled on this Board

There are a couple of replies (one is yours Ali-B) which I would like to simply 'Like', without having to reply

Just to jump in here..... and I apologise for not responding sooner either and I'll explain if I must. I was in bed by the time that was posted, I then got up in the morning, went to work:where I have NO internet access at all. I then came home had a brief look on here before then having a shower and doing some household jobs, then actually had a bit relax, watching TV with the other half.

The thing nobody seems to be able to accept is that we have never taken sides in this. We do not know for sure exactly what has happened, we only get the accounts of either side. You all may say Ross is a good guy and has been wronged, and that may well be the case, but we don't know one way or another. Hence, we have left the thread in view with both sides put forward, along with the engineers report (if anything, allowing Ross to have more say).

To some extent, I'm unsure of what you want us to do, other than just give free reign on the forum for you to post stuff about Immy. The project thread is there to be seen and people can draw their own conclusions. Even if all the questions asked by Ali, and answered were posted, and assuming all of you/any other member stays off the thread, what do you think will happen? Even if we assume Ross is telling the truth (and we don't know either way), then what? Immy will counter that....What real good is going to come, what can be posted that hasn't really been said already? Afterall, the recent reply has mainly referred us to the project thread, so what can be added at this point, that we haven't already added?

This is not us being unfair. Opening the project thread would just become a free for all again, and is not going to help Ross. There is little chance it would just stick to being about progression.

I don't know what could be added, other than frustrated posts, that would make members see things one way or another that isn't currently in the thread.

If the project thread were opened as nate has already said...

'Admin' should see fit to open Ross's Shafted thread again, and any Immy/Ross baiting from outside sources should receive an infraction. Ross should be allowed a project thread as much as anyone. I have one

Lisa, as i read it the main reason for the posts on here are to warn others, rather than help Ross (who is doing as asked and sorting it off forum).
