...it was slightly damp that day and the chip had worked loose a bit and the driver had cold!

Haha I'm not going to argue, but that 8:09 was for a manual car, I know there was a German mag that has recently went round in 8:05 in the DSG. Still a million miles away from 7:30-7:40 I agree.

I Haven't drove the TTRS but I imagine on uk roads it's quite a weapon with it's 4wd. My mate was selling his 2007 RS4 and I loved it but it was just a bit old for me.
