Just a small update as not much done to her recently apart from driving ..........

In order to complete the suspension upgrades will be fitting the front crossmember stiffener package when they emerge from customs...

......and supplement the flexi-stiffeners already fitted (all parts fitted to S206 as standard)

Don your car is awesome, can you pop a full list of mods as the car looks the nuts. I saw it at the prodrive meet along with a blue/purple saloon on the time line that's really made me think of upgrading from the hatch to one when I've had enough use out of my 330s

Having met Don today and seen this car in the metal I have come on s/net and gone through every post in this thread. It confirms to me what I already thought. The level of attention to detail he brings forth when modding is exquisite!

Don, whats the part number for the JDM mirrors and heated glass etc? Do you have a guide you followed for the conversion and adding the powerfold when locking? Sorry for all the questions

Jamie,

I got my JDM mirrors from Litchfields via GRD. (seems the last set available)
As they were from an early model they were only power folding with repeater, so had to add the heated glass and additional wiring to suit.

HOWEVER, Japanparts now do the later as a complete kit (heated plus power folding and repeater) but not cheap.

Auto folding requires this unit to be added.............

http://www.japanparts.com/db/parts_d...&SEARCH_page=9

It is installed as per the included instructions but with a modification to the trigger pickup to suit our double locking doors.
Info for this available, if needed.

Jamie, there was a guy on here a while back making a little module for about £25 that auto folded the mirrors when ignition was turned on/off, he stopped doing them but you may find a 'how too' on NASIOC?

Don, Osamu Namba should take a hike and you should move in. I wonder whether Subaru would have had more success if they had built a car similar to this from the start.

The heated mirrors are included in the total package

When you say couldn't see the mirrors are you refering to just the heated glass ??

Heated glass for both the standard Van size mirrors or the small JDM mirrors is available in the UK (Rob84 confirmed this)

Small size heated glass.......
Mirror repair RH 91039AG201
Mirror repair LH 91039AG211

Van size UK heated glass......
Mirror repair RH 91039FG100

But I'm put off now. Would rather keep the money toward forging my engine.
