MONTHLY FUEL COSTS?
A fair old way this month - just under 2500 miles in fact, so it's my own fault!
Still, averaged around 28mpg with a mix of spirited runs and long motorway cruises.
I use the Scoob as my everyday car and tend to do around 23,000 miles a year, so around £5500 - £6000 on fun juice over 12 months.
Hence my recent thread regarding getting a diesel runaround and retiring the Scooby to occasional use... A bit late to think of it some might say!

I,ll be Honest Baron for that amount of Miles, ie Salemen Miles, id get a 2nd Diesal m8. I also use mine for work, but work pay for my fuel soon as i step out the door, ive done about 8500 since last November.
I hope you can claim it back ?
Had my WRX since May and it is thirsty! I budgeted quite happily for this before I got it and worked out the mad car tax amount and insurance (which wasn't as bad as I thought).
However I seem to spend more than budgeted for as I tend to drive my scooby more than I need to because I enjoy driving it so much!

Another +1 for LPG conversions. I just did one for ***** and giggles and made a project thread out of it here https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...kunkworks.html It's perfect for the daily commute (I get my proper kicks from my classic 2.5 STI).
It's also in the for sale section!!
