Fully deserved too -I'll take my medicine- our scoring has disguised a makeshift midfield and a shambles of a defence from the start of the season. Hopefully it's an early enough wakeup call for Fergie to fix it before season end.

Don't understand why he didn't play Vidic as Johhny Evans always gives me the ******* even when he's on the pitch and would have had Chicharito on from the start too instead of Welbeck. the latter has lots of promise and always trys his heart out but it was a bit early to start with him for a big game like that. Lots of tinkering these days

Roll on the second half

Yesterday was one of those days when you were glad it was your nephews 4th Birthday and just to be thankful you shoved a score on City to win the league back in June at 7/2.

A bitter pill to swallow but I have to agree with all of Fat Boys comments, especially the midfield it was ****e, Anderson isnt making the grade, Fletcher woeful as ever although the goial will get him a new 4 year contract, gotta have the token sweaty in the team.

Too much tinkering, he doesn't know what his best team is and has too many similar players in certain positions within the squad, I mean we are still waiting for Roy Keanes replacement !! let alone Scholes.......

The CPS can do it for you

No doubt he can look to various family members for advice on court dates....

Did any of the United fans go to or watch the palace game ?

Other than it being a woeful performance Valencia seemed the only one who was prepared to run at them. Park always bloody checked and passed back.

Macheda still seems to be dining out on that goal against Villa, time to let him go, if anyone will have him, maybe we could loan him to Sunderland for the remainder of the season, tyhe loan to Sampdoria did him no favours.

Morrison still has a long way to go before seeing more first team action.

Pogba looked good in parts and should be given a run in the first team with the fixtures we've got coming up, it will only help his progression before he signs for City or Arsenal, he can't be any worse than Fletcher imho.

Fantastic goal by Ambrose and Zaha had a fancy skill set, potential there without a doubt it just needs to be nutured properly, I can see him coming to the Prem soon if he keeps that up.

I watched - it was woeful - as you say Valencia was the only one trying, but whenever he looked up to pass or cross all our midfield were hiding behind opposition players so that they didn't have to receive the ball. " Troubled but talented Morrison" ? Make that " Troubled and 5hite Morrison" but the others were as bad - the number of times I saw a midfielder pass and then stand still usually 10 feet from another disinterested midfielder was unbelievable. Not one shot on the Palace goal in the first half says it all...

Well done Palace - tried their heart out and fully deserved it.

Last time I was at Palace I watched from about row 9 behind where Eric sorted the Palace moron out - contrary to popular opinion the kick barely grazed the guy's chest as Cantona was falling backwards by then (not from lack of intent mind ), but the follow up punch was an absolute peach and took all the wind out of the gob5hite's sails. He just STFU and backed away from Eric Ah the good old days

Alternatively, 45 minutes until the other 95% of the population start celebrating.

It's always nice to know so many rely on uniteds failure to give them something from an otherwise depressing season where their own team is concerned

Five minutes and it looks dire. Basel are the whipping boys and they are not looking out of place in this game.
