Happy with the new signings so far, we just need one of the following, although I cant see any of them coming, sadly

Modric
Sneijder
Nasri

We need someone who can create and compose in the middle.

Cant wait for the season to start so I can start moaning again , only 6.5 weeks away :thumb

Should be a cracking season, I can see the Big 4 spending heavily, Liverpool are also looking to do business, started well by kicking out Sammy Lee, he was a glorified ball boy anyway.

And Spurs seem intent on spending their summer trying to wriggle their way back into the Olympic Stadium, maybe they should concentrate on trying to get back into the Champions League...

We need at least two creative CM in my opinion, especially as it looks as though Gibson is on his way. Not that he played well but it leaves us short, and as well as Scholes retiring and Hargreaves leaving ( I know he never played but he was never relaced in the hope he'd get over his injury's).

I'd get a deal done involving Nani for Sneijder, he did well last season but he irritates the **** out of me and has no consistency. We have Young now and it would be good to see Cleverly get a chance. Also listen to offers for Berbatov, his goals tally is a bit misleading from last year as he scored 8 of those in two home games. Rooney/Hernandez partnership will get a good few goals this season and with Wellbeck at least looking like a player now and hopefully Macheda improving I think we could afford to lose Berba, also Young can play up front.

Not sure about Nasri, something just doesn't sit right with me and I think he's over rated though I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

I paid for my season ticket on Monday so I'm looking forward to the new season

Will be good to welcome you guys to Swansea for the first time properly.
I`m sure you`ll get a warm welcome from the fans, as the bigger games will be like Christmas for us lol.

I'm old enough to remember when Swansea were top of the old first division !!

Always nice to see the likes of Swansea, Blackpool etc making it into the top flight at least it generates some cash for them, as they cant rely on transfers to top teams as they did 20 odd years ago.

Aaron, I'd agree with you on two CM's but I can only see one more big signing coming in. I'd stick with Berba, I like him and has has more ability on the ball than anyone else at the club, but I know why United fans want rid, there is this perception he is lazy and although it show's at times I still think he is an asset worth keeping.

Cleverley will definitely be seeing some first team action this season, I have high hopes for him, he performed really well for Wigan last season. I'm still undecided on Wellbeck and Macheda especially. Wellbeck will have improved from his time at Sunderland no doubt but I'm not too sure if he is of the quality required to suceed at United, time will tell.

City are rumoured to have waved £180000 a week under Nasri's nose

Ok, I will

Don't you reckon Macheda will get a bit more of a run next season?

I thought after not even making the bench in Champions League final Berbatov would be the first one out, although on the night, I thought he was one of your better players!

Nasri is a bit of a funny one, have never really rated him much, too hit or miss.

Will be glad to be proved wrong if he does join, although City look like they are up to there normal tricks. £180k per week for him.... no thanks.

I'd seen that earlier, £180k

The thing is he'd play almost every week at United, the way they play at City he'd have to oust Silva, Ballotelli, Milner, Tevez, Dzecko and Johnson. Tevez (if he stays) is a starter and so is Silva, Ballotelli won't stay long if he's not playing. Not a good team to go play in at the moment, because even if he does get in the team I feel there will be a lot of animosity from who is left out! Yet at United you have players (Nani & Berbatov) left out of the CL final after being two of our best stating they want to stay. Any midfielder that comes to United has a opportunity to make the position their own, he's certainly better off coming to United in terms of playing more. I suppose it depends if £180k is more important than £120-140k he'll pick up at United Is he going to leave one team with potential for another team with potential, or go to a team with a winning mentality and a proven record in winning trophies?

Exactly, just like Chelsea when Roman bought 35 midfielders in a day, although I sense the level of mercinary is far worse at City than it ever was in Roman's early days.

Wes is on his way to have a medical and join up with Brucie, been a good servant to the club.
Two broken legs at the start of his career never helped him nor did the own goals good luck to him. Will be interesting to see if O'Shea and Gibson follow.

O'Shea now signed for Sunderland, but I hear Gibson is to go to Stoke though that is just a rumor. Some good noises are being made about Sneijder today, would love for him to sign and still we need another CM IMO. Tiote from Newcastle would be a reasonable price!

Not surprised to see Brown go, but quite surprised to see O'Shea. Fergie has leant on him a lot over the past few seasons!

And who's going to buy them, so many to ship out !

Sorry to see O'Shea leave another bloody good servant, a player for all positions, good luck to him and Wes at Sunderland.

Brucie has brought a lot of names in this summer it will be interesting to see how they go as his job could well be on the line if they fail they could also go top 6 with the squad they're compiling.

Hopefully gonna get my One United membership for this season so I can get to more home matches money permitting. Isaac is only 4 months old so not sure if he'll see Utd this season or next but he'll have his 9-12 months kit for seasons start - trust me, I'm a DJ.

There is 3 of us sat together this season COB, and sometimes one or more can't go. If there is ever a spare ticket I'll PM you if you're interested seen as though you're only down the road in sunny scunny. We've opted in for League cup too as well as having to buy CL and FA Cup home games. So the chances are there will be space now and again.

From what I understand he is available, he could fill Hargreaves boots and also cover right back when necessary.

Yeah that's what I've heard too, and as little as £10m too which is a good price.
