May I suggest something with a good ground clearance and something that will take the odd knock. We all know your track record!!!!

Civic Type R any and every day of the week!
Shouldn't be to horrid on the insurance.. And look at the Facelift models Late 2003 onwards.
One of the best cars I have owned ( It just didnt have a turbo )

Ryan, what about one of the VW or Seat TDi's - they can be easily tuned and put out some serious torque. Forget about headline BHP it's LBS FT of torque I would be looking for.
The old Skoda Fabia TDi VRS is worth considering as wel but it's hardly the best looking car out there, but then who cares when you are overtaking?

Im for the Clio 182 or the MR2 Roadster. The 182 came in a couple of very rare colours, orange as in the link below and liquid yellow which is even more rare. I can't find a single one for sale at the moment but i did see one recently within your budget so it could be worth looking out for if you want something different. Personally i love the yellow, it has a pearl finish, stunning!

Here is a link to the yellow one:

My last car was an MR2 Roadster and i bloody loved it! Reasonable to insure, pretty quick and easily high 30's to the gallon. It could be a handfull though and in the wrong hands could see the driver in a tree or in a box.........kind of fun though!!
I wouldn't touch the first version of the roadster just because it had a few engine/pre-cat issues that could be serious. The revised model with the front foglights had the issue dealt with and is a more reliable car.

Hope this is some help mate

The clio's do look nice, especially in those colours! Dont fancy the mr2 to be honest as ill get bullied in work lol
Daz i'd love a kit car but i'm having trouble finding someone who will insure me on one because of my age. Plus i'd need to buy another car for work and to pick up chicks when its raining

iv heard the chicks are better wet, but thats just what iv heard. you need to be clever on your choice of kit car, most kit cars are built with 1600 engines and then the engines get changed for bigger lumps but for some reason the log book never gets changed. if i was your age again i would go feista st. you could go mr2 roadster and get the 355 farrari body kit best of both worlds.
