The system is easily exploitable and no one seems to want to step up border controls this side of the channel or the other. Perhaps the army or private security should be employed to make our borders more secure and keep out undesirables and those intent on getting here to milk the system.
To all those who say illegals got nothing - well apparently they do if proof or their homeland is not forthcoming then we have to look after them once they are here!
About time a few people removed their head from the sand or even their own asses and woke up to the reality!

Cant comment , i suspect youve just made the fugures up
i do know/have heard from reliable sources of people that can wait more than 7 without any response from home office at all - during which it is illegal for them to work
they get 40 quid a week and a roof over their head
People who had 5 years stay WERE eliglible for indefinite - probably changed now

I recognise the problems 'we' have and have done so on many, many threads Many, many other posters have as well as myself.
It appears it you who needs to accept that there are other problems such as the uncontrolled mass immigration this country has had for the past 10+ years and no integration into the existing society with successive governments allowing ghetto-iseation and the mistrust and social problems that it entails also how about accepting two wrongs do not make a right and not to discount mass immigration and all that it entails because of pre existing problems.

Even your fave bleeding heart left-wing paper puts the number at 500,000 in 2009
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/ma...ration-poverty
Should we give them benefits, houses, access to NHS, schools, etc and if so, who exactly pays for this i wonder...

Lol, oh dear, the reality a bit too much for you to handle - You need to let go of the 135,000, try the link i posted above 500,000 or there abouts'., bit more than 135,000 and more of a concern. Best not to deflect away from the 'real' figures by playing little games eh

I think everyone has some degree of responsibility for the way the country is, easy to blame immigrant, the government or whatever but I think human nature is part of it, here is my list,
Immigration, its true, too many people coming intot a small island, they dont all contribute, the systems cant cope, dont let any more in than you have to unless they have skills or can fund themselves. Letting people in with different values and letting them colonise an area.
Greed, not paying the right ammount of tax or avoiding it alltogether. Working and claiming.
Sloth, lurking round taking handouts and trying to fiddle more.
Greed as in substances, food, drugs, drink or whatever and the burden it places ont he rest of society.
Violence, usually down to drink
Ignorance, teenagers that say school is "boring", ffs, its YOU that is boring, dont make a career out of being dumb.
Destructive, breaking stuff for the sake of it, dropping litter, chewing gum dropped on the floor, just abusing your surroundings.
We live too long, all that effort keeping people alive when they are obviously knackered, just turn me off and spend the time on someone who isnt 85.
Expectations, everyone is waiting for the big break, X factor, lottery, football stardom, just get on with it and dont try to pretend you are anything else.
The Banks, lending money they didnt have to greed feckwitts, was never going to go well.
Never thinking you are doing anything wrong yourself.
See, cant pin it all on the Muslim community though I think they have several issues they need to answer for and are as bad as anyone else at exploting the system, probably actaully better at it.

Assuming your figures are right (and, as they are backed up by no more than conjecture and a certain amount of will from you for them to be right so it makes you feel good about your pet 'crusade,' we can only assume) I can't say it's good, but I am still way more worried about the wider problems of the welfare state generations and a lazy good for nothing underclass of indigenous homegrown trash. Hope that clarifies it for you
• Unemployment among ethnic minorities costs the economy almost £8.6 billion a year in benefits and lost revenue from taxes. Half of Muslim men and three quarters of Muslim women are unemployed.

I would imagine the immigrant grapevine and the camps around Calais are also a good source of information on what to do

You harp on about white trash, how about some of the notorious estates in London and other major cities - are they all white trash? your reverse racism is a little cynical and very short-sighted and one-sided don't you think? your little pet project it seems...
as i said (although you seem to choose to ignore it) two wrongs do not make a right and the home grown problems need dealing with, adding to problems is not the usual solution though is it...

I've just sat and read 4 pages of utter $hit.
Scoobynet has now been dragged down to gutter levels by two people who are either trolls or really do have social issues..
This place used to be great - do us a favour and please both **** off back to Socialist Worker and the BNP.
Thanks.

Bollocks, my 'rhetoric' is to counter the likes of you constantly harping on abiut Muslim this and Muslim that. The mods are too dumb to do anything about it so it's time to give you a bit of your own medicine!
