Daz - I seem to remember that the last time our cars were anywhere near each other yours wouldn't run!
Although thanks for the AVCS plugs that got mine going!
To be fair the Sti is better out of the box than a WRX always will be, however there are many 'WRX's' that will outdo a std STI - I know mine would as most of the parts are STi or better!

Nothing is over! Nothing! You just don't turn it off! It wasn't my war! You asked me, I didn't ask you! And I did what I had to do to win! But somebody wouldn't let us win! And I come back to the world and I see all those maggots at the airport, protesting me, spitting. Calling me baby killer and all kinds of vile crap! Who are they to protest me? Who are they? Unless they've been me and been there and know what the hell they're yelling about!

Yes a stock WRX will always beat a stock STI.
I did think this thread was a bit funny when I read it and can't believe there are so many pages. It is like saying, will my 330i bmw beat the new V8 M3.

Cars aren't always black & white. Some drivers just know how to get everything out of a car. I think it was speccy who used to say to me he'd beat any car I had in a 1.0 Fiesta.
At the end of the day it's not what's the best car it's what would would own on a spirited blast from the lights? WRX or STI?
Still haven't received footage btw! ...I wonder why!
