Anyway i had a pleasant word with him and it stopped for a while. In the mean time next door took to playing loud music at all hours. This went of for a while (month in all i guess) i banged on the wall a few ti9me and went round in the end as i was sick of it and had words. He got stroppy and i told him to stop. He didn't.

I went to work, loaded up a 2kw sound system, pr of bose 802's and a pr of 302 subs and took them home and set them up in the lounge facing the adjoining wall. Our lounge was 12' x10' i guess so not a large room and 2kw seemed perfectly adequate for the job in hand

He started play his music loud - i went round to ask him to stop, he did not answer the door so i turned on my sound system and cranked it up. Went out for a couple of hours.

When i came back we literally heard no more from them

Mr OS did exactly that with some neighbours of his years ago. He never had any bother after that.

They also think it's fine to place their baby seat half way down our driveway whilst they load their car up and walk about all over the front of our garden. When they back onto the drive they often leaving it overhanging the end of ours meaning I can't get our car out. Also when it snowed he decided to shovel all the snow off his drive onto my garden and all over the plants burying them.

These are alleged religious types who seem to have absolutley no morals on how to respect other people's property. I have confronted them before politely asking them to move their car back and to stop blocking our drive only to be met with an angry attitude.

Oh and the best bit was when she asked if she could poor some weed killer over a section of my garden next to their drive because it had some weeds on that I had not got rid of. I told her no thanks and then she had the cheek to question if it was even part of my garden and not theirs

Then only a couple of weeks ago I was tidying the front garden up (after mowing the lawn) and the dog was sitting down. She pulls up and has the cheek to ask if my dog is safe because she is scared of them. What a ******* fruit cake, the dog is laying down in my garden and not bothering her at all. And this is about the most dopey Labrador you could get so hardly going to get up and bark at her or appear menacing

I'm considering what to place on the piece of garden along their driveway to stop them walking all over it. Either some holly bushes or some large rocks and make a lovely rockery high enough to bash their car door if they try and open it over my garden and step onto it.

If they were neighbours I liked I wouldn't givea toss about them walking on the garden but as they are very unfriendly and to be quite honest I can't stand them it's time I made it quite clear to stay off my property.

Astraboy all suggestions welcome
Just build a fence.

Low brick wall if allowed, or hawthorn/holly hedge.

blackthorn is really nasty, the spikes get stuck and often get infected requiring a trip to the hospital to sort it out

And you can make sloe gin from the fruit!

I think that the only way is a fence which is just high enough to be awkward to climb over. Could be out of wire which is not too visible. You can always check to see if there is a covenant.

They sound too "b' " minded to take notice of anything else.

Does this not seem fcuked up to anyone??.... THEIR dog was coming into YOUR garden, ripping open bin bags etc and strewing crap all over the place..... and THEY complain at YOU for leaving chicken bones in YOUR OWN rubbish.....

Thats the most bizarre story I've ever heard - its just wrong

Small fence with lots n lots of grease. If it starts making a mess of their clothing, they might just stop encrouching on your property. If they complain about getting grease on their clothes ask them why are they walking on your property.....

I think I'd be raiding the bins outside KFC looking for more dog food.

Or paint it with old black engine oil. Looks like dark Creosote and protects the wood. Makes a right f*****g mess of your clothes too

6" metal posts with light chains... Would be very un-neighbourly.
