My car is/was restricted by the oem back box. It's being mapped again by JGM with a Milltek full system on so well see what it makes then

If you want more power from a spec c then get a different turbo. The VF36 was never designed for top end flow.

A spanking new spec c......it was ready to bare the famous T5NYW then pulled out last minute

You will regreat it

I think he's torn between a spec c and a race car...............it is a very tough decision tho

So the rollers seemed to read ok IMO, maybe a tad over as madisonmonkeys torque figure seems fairly accurate. I will add however that the peak torque figure that mine reached of 400ft/lbs was only for a very short peak at 1.7 bar, it also subsequently killed my clutch.!! lol

Also below is RC Whites' figures with similar mods on his Hawkeye Spec C, but from Delta dash (so not really very comparbale to my rolling road graph) on a Bob Rawle map IIRC

But for comparison & to state the other argument, several months earlier on Powerstation's Dyno mine spent a couple of hours in the dyno cell while being mapped (also getting quite hot) & made about 6 bhp less and 35ft/lbs of torque less.

So what conclusions you can draw from all that, I dont know!! lol
22% losses on a JDM STi is far too high to get realistic figures if you want to compare them to a Rolling Road like the one at Zen Performance.

I used to use that 21.8% figure too myself to come up with a figure, but i've found the figure you need to use with DD if comparing to Zen's Rollers is 15.5%. Transmition losses are not that high because you are hitting peak power fairly low down the rev range on a stock turbo spec car.

My now 2.1 twin scroll with stock VF37 turbo, standard IC, Inlet etc on Zen's rollers made 313BHP at the wheels, 354BHP at the flywheel, and 399Lbft at the flywheel.

Using my delta dash road dyno the power at the wheels is very close, within a few BHP, using 21.8% losses it's giving 367BHP, 433lbft using that method.

In Gear Acceleration:
40 - 60mph = 2.0 seconds
50 - 70mph = 2.0 seconds
60 - 80mph = 2.2 seconds
70 - 90mph = 2.7 seconds

By being Ballsy I can keep up with my mate at brands in the Dry but in the wet i slow up by 20% he just seems to go Faster. He is so much neater and smoother, the wet sorts out the men from the boy

Exotic location, real world roads ... they were surprised that the Enzo did so well. It's an £800k+ car though after all!

They also took a RS3 & a souped up FRS.

TX.

PS

Think it was Licho's car with 404hp.

The sales pitch is "hyper" hatches vs a proper hyper car.

[edit - result deleted so as not to spoil it!]

Enzo is 650hp / 1395kg vs Spec C at 404hp / 1450kg

Im looking at getting a Hawkeye STI JDM but want to know what the Hawkeye would have in the way of spec compared to a UK Hawkeye.
This is what I know all ready:
UK JDM
2.5 engine 2.0 Twin Scroll
Standard Stering Rack Quick Rack
Higher Road Tax £200 ish a year road tax

What about other things the JDM comes with on the Bugeye and Blobeyes? is there some things like rear wiper that you dont get on a hawkeye JDM.

Cheers.

Quite a big question this, you would be better starting a new topic of your own to get a good response. I know this is a question that has been discussed on many ocassions and yes Tony will have this info to hand
