Chris Moyles: Comic Relief

Think a sense of perspective is needed here, it's not as if he is the boss of the Fukushima nuclear power plant or someone who has just lost loved ones and everything they possessed in either the Australian floods, Christchurch earthquake or the Japanese megaquake etc etc
Hats off to anyone that has the pull to raise so much for any charity, but it's his choice so whethet you like him or not, I would certainly never deem Chris Moyles to be a 'poor chap'.

He played 30 mins of music. Fat oaf should be done under trades description. As should the 'Not at all' Comedy Dave. The whole show is about as funny as following through.

I was listening to it this morning, they had John Culshar on doing some impressions. His Brian *** voice reading the D-Ream lyrics was quite amusing.
But then Westwood come on and it dramatically went down hill, so much so I had to turn it off.

I like the Chris Moyles show, light hearted entertainment keeps me goin in the mornings at work....gotta love Carpark Catchphrase
Like him or not, they have now raised £641,726....which is a fair amount of money for charity no matter what way you look at it

Then had about 4 hours sleep and up again for a long time.
Felt very ill and spaced out. Very unpleasant.
It's one think staying up a long time and having little of consequence to do, another to do a stressful job with real decision making etc where you might have been knackered even before the long shift.

I've always said he behaves like a "chip-on-his-shoulder" ex-bullied schoolkid. Because he's 'made it', he's using his success as a childish "ner ner ner ner ner" 2-finger salute to his bullying peers/doubters, etc. That aspect of his 'personality' really does come though IMO.
An embittered man (read dick, ****, et al).

I did over 50 hours one time offshore and that involved handling radioactive sources and trying to save a job worth 100,000's of dollars. All with an angry boss breathing down my neck and various other angry idiots.
Then had about 4 hours sleep and up again for a long time.

Only asking like as a mate of mine is a rig manager for want of a better word and reckons the hours are tied down tighter than a gnats chuff with regards to silly length shifts

Depends what you're mate does. This was on a ****ty jackup in a 3rd world country working for a 3rd world national oil company.
If you mate does subsea work or some hi-tech stuff he may never come across the **** end of the industry.

Been feeling guilty every time I felt tired over the last 2 days! Love him or hate him, he's done something that a lot of us wouldn't do and for a great cause. I had a colleague say something like he should give up some of his salary if he's so great. Well, how about you doing the same! I know he's marmite, but even if you don't like him, you've still got to admire him for what he's done.
Oh, and the "Comedy" in Comedy Dave is ironic....
