oil catch tank has been mounted and modifed as it only came with 2 hose connections and i needed 3.
first one was for the 2 camshaft breathers
second for the crank breather
third for the catch tank to breath

engne bay is more or less finished now and looking rather sweet me thinks

bonnet pins are also now installed for the aerocatches

both front wings have been put back on and the front end all bolted back together wings, headlights, side lights, bumper

the front brakes and then the wheels where put on other than needing a wash to get all the dust off she looks amazing i think

well its about time i added something to the thread we ve bought another scooby we found on ebay that had a few things we were both looking for. Parts i ll be having:
Roll cage, uprated front and rear brakes, Seat and a few of the suspension components.
I have now also fixed my Tien coilovers so they are ready to fit. The WRX engine that came out is nt going back in instead we have sourced an sti lump which Houlty is going to put ACL race bearings in and that will go in instead. The car is also going back into the paint shop not going to ruin it by saying what colour she ll be but it ll be a big shock from the black its currently in.
Will post a few pictures of the new bits and bobs and also our awesome new garage tomorrow.

Default I'm starting again!

After some bad times with the car I've started again as I've managed to get my hands a rather good condition 2 door type r shell
I got disheartened after so much work went into the last car and it never seeing the track from clutch failure to oil leaks then water leaks and the lack of oil pressure knackered the engine! But the challenge goes on pictures to follow soon
