A bit cloudy here on the south coast, but did manage to see it. Was there another satellite travelling in a similar direction around the same time? I thought I saw 2.

Bit confusing, according to NASA the shuttle and ISS would only be visible Monday and Wednesday this week:

I can't get to the usual site I use for sightings to cross-check, as their server's overloaded.

She was critical to the operation, she's the ballast for the shuttle. Alternatively doubles as a few months emergency food supply in case they get cut off up there.

No you got to be pritty quick to spot it as its gone within a few seconds,but i deffo seen it fly across,i had to look in more a south west direction,rather than directly west..

Are you sure that was the ISS? It usually takes a good minute or two to go from horizon to horizon.

I have a few tall trees to the rear of my backyard so i lost sight of it because of that..the time i spotted it was 1814 hrs..
