Just heads up to you all, at 18.36hrs tonight, if you go out and look up into the sky, you will be able to see the space shuttle. At 18.41hrs tonight you will be able to see the international space station. You will be able to see them for 2 minutes and they will be travelling at 18,000 mph!!!! Awesome!!!

Tonight and Wednesday night is the last time you will see it in the uk shuttle goes back early wednesday.

According to the web site it will be a bit earlier tonight - I'm in High Wycombe and it is saying ISS/Shuttle will be visible between 6:13pm and 6:18pm tonight (8th) and 6:39pm and 6:43pm tomorrow.

Was discovery docked with the ISS on Sunday night?
If it was then I saw both when I was looking at the ISS pass over,
Just looked like a bright star moving slowly overhead with the naked eye, still impressive tho.

Go here http://heavens-above.com/selecttown.asp?CountryID=UK, put in your town and then click on the day/time (8th March 18:13). It will show you a pretty graphic to show it;s transition. Pretty much it's West -> SW -> South -> SE. Though I guess in the main part not close to the horizon, will be SW/South for most of the time for the UK.

i tried to look it up in southampton as thought i would have a look later and show kids if can see anything but couldnt find anything once i put my location in and clicked on southampton
