I made that along with a lot of the other stuff - was on last years project thread.
Not hard to do really.

Cheers Steve.
Going on the dyno on saturday to map up the GT35 and see what it will do. Hopefully see some good figures although wont be chasing outright power just good driveability and reliability. Will tickle it with some nitrous too
Also going to be changing the rear diff having got hold of a spare R180 rear diff to build the new Zen LSD into

If I wasnt busy Sat then Id be there. Got tickets for opening day at Flamingo Land. The place is usually dead when it first opens for the season so you just spend all day getting off and straight back on all the proper rides. I dont have a car at the moment so youve got to get the adrenaline from where you can
Get videos Dunc, videos!

Had fun on the dyno today over at Zen
First off I would like to say thanks to Paul at Zen for letting me use his rollers and for his usual great advice on setting the car up for TA. Also for videoing the run for me whilst I was controlling the loud buttons in the car. For some reason the sound didnt come out too well but you get the idea, it was quite noisey though
Anyway, the facts ... lateral performance GT35 hybrid turbo specced by Mark at Lateral designed for uber response but as you can see it does great for power and torque too - cheers mark
I am still running on 1000cc injectors so these were maxed out with running on Greenergy E85 so didnt get a chance to run more than 1.9 bar peak and didnt have the nitrous on. With more boost and with the NOS it should be an even nicer figure. That will have to wait til after oulton now though.
The built EJ257 is still on 100% from the factory hawkeye sti heads and cams ..
Anyway the video:
You can see from the screen at the end the lambda trace leaning out.
The graph:
Pretty chuffed with this result

cheers Rich - was only running on wastegate pressure there as the test was for other things and i hadnt had time to map it yet (all done now). Did have a few issues but got plenty enough running to sort a set up for the tyres out and scrub two sets of tyres in

I have to say I didnt do anything about bringing the boost in earlier would more concentrating on the mid and top end as if I am at 3500 rpm on track then I need driving lessons
I think it will come in slightly earlier if encouraged a little harder.

I think front mount is a lot of work for minimal benefit, but boost threshold is only part of the story though, response would be improved and you cant measure that on a dyno graph.
