Be good to see what you think of the Pirelli's, I thought that mine where ok on the Porsche around snett but they were near the limits so not much tread movement.

More aero mods you going for the GT1 look

Pipework is looking good Duncan.

They are rather tight in there. My inlet hose touches the fittings on the end of the rail.

At some point this year I'm going to do the same with my aps pipework and change it from the original set up.

Looking forward to seeing some figures!

a bit of progress:

got the car back last night from GR Performance after they had expertly made a rotated kit for it - cheers Daz

So had a few things on the to do list for today

Welding .. if you can call it that

Making a bit tidier.

Support brackets for the rear spoiler as I now have a single skin fibre glass boot lid from ABW:

Almost finished (now painted)

Aerocatches have been fitted to the boot lid but it was too dark to take pics of them. The spoiler mounts will come up through the boot lid to mount the spoiler onto.

Interesting little plate DG you got there......I wonder what that will be "supporting"

Daz (Magnum) - I've gone for s/steel on mine as I got fed up of the alloy I had on to date. Believe a few of the other high powered scoobs are running s/steel too.

Duncan, would it not have been better to get a spoiler with wider spaced supports to mount on the rear quarters instead of having to fabricate extra supports?

Just wondering if the, albeit small, weight of those supports and single skin boot lid out numbers the weight of a OEM boot lid.

no - I wouldnt want to change my spoiler

the weight of these supports is significantly less than the brackets that held the boot on alone, let alone the OE boot lid itself and the catch and the springs. The single skin boot lid weighs next to bugger all too Net weight loss is about 8kgs and the spoiler will now be solidly mounted to the chassis and much more solid.

boot lid finished and various pipework jobs sorted too tonight.

Got Steve from Bright Green detailing here tomorrow giving it a brush up to make it look pwetty for the test day on friday whilst i get a few remaining jobs sorted on it.

Then off to zen on wednesday to fit the hardrace suspension parts and get alignment done for the pirellis and perhaps a little dyno time if all goes well

Tuesday progress ..

Steve from Bright Green Detailing came over to give the car a good going over since sitting up resting for the winter (the car not steve ) www.brightgreendetailing.co.uk

Tuesday evening I picked up the diffuser and brought that back taped to the roof bars of the frontera as it was too big to fit inside lol - must have looked a sight heading up the A1

Wednesday and a day at Zen for me, Paul and Ren to fit new HardRace suspension parts and also finish off the turbo plumbing:

Tial MVR Wastegate (from mark at Lateral) fitted to the excellent pipework made by GR Performance 8)

Top view of turbo:

Rear adjustable pillowball suspension:

Extended ball joints:

Extended track rod ends:

Then for a perfect set of alignment by Paul there to take into account the Pirelli tyres...

Aero going on today and then off to oulton tomorrow morning
