Contemplating one of these :

Got a quote for a new standered roof £380 + vat,so £500 for carbon not a bad price !

also had a mate cut out my door cards from 3mm white plastic sheet ,just had to mark to cut out door opener as in pics i can make these for you if interested a good tidy finish when screwed on later.

if you are going to fab. your door cards there is a considerable amount of weight you could take out by removing the inner door skins get that grinder out!!!!

If i do that mate there will be no where for the door lincage to fasten to so will flop about all over, this will do for now untill i go fibre glass doors.

im sure you can get rid of some of it 80% of it but fibre glass is the way to go. make a huge difrence. did you go for the carbon roof?

As the car is going in for roll cage very soon thought it was a good idea to get the interior cleaned from all residue of sound deadening sticky stuff ready for paint when it gets back so a few pics of the day thank you dave could do with you coming down more often ! great help cheers

We used a chisel for getting the last few bits of the stuff off then flappy disc and thinners with a rag.
Even the water seals have been removed to get a good finish preped ready for 2 pack white paint and primer.

All I will say is the Sparco ones I had where twice the weight and poorer quality than my previous Motordrives.

For my Project mi16 Pug its going to be Motordrive all the way
