Removed wheels today to remove tyres from last track day as you can see they went off big time !





Next was to remove the NDX pads ready for delivery of the carbotech XP10's

Decided while brakes were off to wire brush rusty hubs and spray came up loads better





Tyres are now removed from rims ready for a spray now what colour should I go with

 

Lime green centres fading back to white at the edges? lol.
What steering wheel are you using & where is it from? Did you bother with a quick release boss?

The steering wheel was from Dave garret on here sabelt with 70 mm dish feels great

As for a quick release I had one but wasn't happy with the feel of it suppose the lifeline would be a better option than the one I bought

 

Wheels will be ready this weekend I'm reliably informed cheers Dave my spraying hero !!

Should get some nice in car video with my new drift hd stealth 1080 p camera



I had to order the roll cage mounting bracket from the US came in 7 days and fits most cameras .

 

Looking good. Expensive?

 

Not really Just under £200 for the camera and £40 for the bracket .

 

That seems like a good price to me. I look forward to seeing some videos.

On another note: i cant believe the state of those tyres! Just shows you how hot they get.

 

True mate , I had done about 4 , 5 lap sessions and swapped front to backs then went out after cool down did 10 consecutive laps and could feel the car getting twitchy so came in and called it a day.

 

Bracket now fitted to cage ready for Cadwell park

 

Try wallpaper steamer for removing sound deading material works a treat.

 

Wheels now painted new tyres going on on Monday quick check over then ready for Cadwell on the 12th



They are actually 02 silver but look blue in the pic

New Dunlop cr311 X08 came today from Steve Harkness so didn't waste anytime getting them fitted to freshly painted wheels ready for caddy on the 12th

 

 

Me to but if you are not now apart from the bits I would have loved to of had I'm pleased for you that you don't have to break it after all the work blood sweat and tears you shed over this car good luck lee
