Yup, mine was fine but took it in anyhow, told them I was scared it would break and they gave me a new one. Try that with a Netgear.

I can't wait for Sunday now. I wonder if I'll get a free BJ seen as the customer service is so good. Don't worry folks there'll be no kicking off, as that's not my style.

As much as I hope it doesn't, and am sure it won't happy, I would laugh my **** off if they told you to do one after all this positivity.

Yeh snazy it would soften the blow if I could come on here and say their customer service was shocking.

I'm sure you will be delighted really.
From my experiences, one was great, one was shocking. That was just to buy cases lol.
iPads were bought from Best Buy where the service was fantastic.

The thing is it would just be normal rather than shocking, being told to do one is what people are used to.

I admit its bad customer service to ecpect you to drive 50 miles to sort it but this is apple, they want to control EVERYTHING about the iphone, even the tariffs and fair use allowances, they are ***** at apple!
It wasnt done at a high street branch, I rang my service provider to sort out a new replacment as did my mate when he was given an iphone 4. Ive know a few people who have done this so I can figure out what you have said if that is right how service providers keep on doing it then.

I worked in the retention department for T-mobile for the worst part of two years, we were able to do silly things for high value customers. Maybe you and your mate spend a bit and take many calls?

Because of this thread I have just been in to the Apple shop in Glasgow because the button on top of my 3GS would not turn the phone off. I booked an appointment by phoning 02 at 1pm got an appointment at 3 and was out with a new iphone by 3:30.
No problems even though it only had 25 days left on the warranty. The old phone had a small crack on the back of the phone and he said that would have been enough for a new phone.
The new one only has a 90 day guarantee but I will stick it on ebay at the end of the month and upgrade to an iphone 4.

Well folks what an experience - The store didn't open till 11am and as I arrived at 10.55 I sat outside. A que formed and I was like wtf, then the glass door opened and I walked in behind around 10 people. Following this all the staff started applauding and cheering. Yanks for ya I suppose lol.

Anyway customer service was spot on and they gave me a brand new phone

Brilliant news, isn't this how all customers should be treated? And not bad for a company that's only strong point is marketing... according to some on here.

I agree Jack. Just a shame I didn't get a round of applause and a cheer when they exchanged it .

Aren't these clear cases just the same as the free ones apple send you when you register on their app?

Even when Apple deliver truly outstanding service there are ***** that just have to be negative.
And when Apple deliver a dodgy product and bad service, you ignore it or deny it........

Funnily enough, Apple are not the only company in the world to give good customer services and good products.

Like most other companies they also fail to deliver spectacularly in some areas too.

What case would you suggest Jack, or would you not bother with one?

I like the bands from Apple on the iPhone 4. Personally I have a rubbery thing from Japan Apple Store that's great but pulls money out of your pocket quicker than Steve Jobs.

People that think they can just shout a manager down to get their own way are the sort of people who refuse to listen to reason and think cos they are a big person in their family who commands respect that that repect will come from me.

Wrong, you are **** all to me love, jog on!
Well if that is your attitude can you tell me where you work so that I can avoid it like the plague?

The Iphone is not a cheap phone to buy is it. £200 plus £40 a month for two years or something. I would expect it last a good few years for that money, so if I went back to the shop from which I purchased it 13 months later with a fault and the cocky manager who doesn't seem to give a **** says 'Jog on' I think I would lose it, wouldn't you?

Worring really, you take a phone in and they replace it without quibble?, and they have loads of phones ready and waiting for this purpose..

could be argued that the phone has lots of problems, and its cheaper / quicker to give about a replacement than repair it, thus giving the impression of good customer service
