Yeah, just telling you what I have got (knowing full well it's not what you require).

A bit more 'potentially' helpful than just responding with a, "No."

I think ive made a big ***** up here... I have STI Pink 550cc injectors... just read this post by Harvey

Where he says these are for new age only.... ive made a big **** up here havent i.... or have i not?

Yeah, but pink 550s ARE top feed (as fitted to New Age car) - so as you were...

i.e. you still need New Age rails and that CD topfeed adaptor kit to fit them to your 1993 Classic's IM

Yes! Makes sense - making the fuelling as safe as poss then. That's why I did it.

you really need an inline pump and a swirl pot really aswell if ur going to do this as the intank pump wont be up to the pressure needed. be prepared its more expensive than you think once you start ive just done my fuel system cost me over £600 just in jic fittings but u can use cheap push on fittings. think in all my fuel system ended up costing about £1600 done right.
you will also need to run a -8 fuel feed line from the tank as standard fuel line aint big enough.

Wlabro 255 is more than capable of supplying enough pressure for at 450bhp odd - at least. Don't need to go to a Bosch 044 and/or lift pump set-up.

Admittedly, it would make the fuelling even more safe - if that's the angle you're coming from?

he says he's doin a track car so really he needs a swirl pot and i think if he puts a swirl pot on he will need a pump after it to feed the rails. ive suffered from bad fuel surge in my past subarus so i think a good swirl pot is a must , unless the track jams go to is a straight line that is!

Cant say ive ever had fuel surge from any of the tracks i went on last year... always about half/quater tank in the car, but that maybe something else to think about.

Good point - I agree (I lost sight of the fact that it was a track car ).

Jamz, we both think a swirl pot, inline pump (such as the Bosch 044), and using the Walbro as a lift pump is the way to go. You can experience huge g-forces on track for sustained (relatively speaking) periods - not good!

...And never let it go below 1/4 tank - esp. on track! Treat 1/4 as 'Empty'

Actually, I'd be inclined to treat 1/2 full as 'empty', when on track!!!

Currently bashing my head against the wall now...

Them fuel rails arrived (ebay link i posted earlyer)... Right problem is, how are the top feeds supposed to fit in them? Is the very top of the injector supposed to poke through the smaller hole inside the rail and then the rubber seal, seal around the bigger bit of the rail?
