Oh dear, once again logic, reason and valid points have been exhausted leaving only emotional opinion and the inevitable accompanying rudeness and misdirection on to unrelated topics. Now which thread have I been there before in?

We get a nice bottle of scotch if we take bazils brush to the gamekeeper. Now that is a well spent cartridge.

I hope you are joking?! What is the point is killing local wildfowl, they are already under significant pressure as it is.

Fine, but the battery hen is not part of the local ecosystem and environment.

Maybe people LIKE having ducks, swans in their local river/canal?

Mate, these animals have been hunted since time in memorium, by both man and beast. Their numbers/habit/habitat are closely monitored by various organisations. I think they do pretty well.

I don't think hunting and shooting is going to deplete the numbers on your village pond, we can leave that to climate change.

Oh yeah, Swans are protected.

And appearently, they don't taste to good anyway.

Its a superb thread...and if anyone says otherwise it'll make me so mad I will go and start popping off all the sweet fury animals to vent my frustration.
