It's more of a performance car related tyre. Better grip better braking and better stability with high speed cornering.

Yep the Hankook Evo 12 has proved to be an awesome tyre.

Daz recommended them to me and several hard track sessions, two handling course days and 10 months of road use have proved the point.

In the wet nothing could stay with me a Brands.
Fantastic value for money.

Mich Pilots were also good and I believe are the only tyre available that contain 7 different composites.

I firmly believe that pressures have a lot to do with it as well. 2.0 Bar (28) has proved optimum across the board.

In the wet at Brands in what company? With 4wd that's a fairly common observation if wet on a mixed trackday. They do compare well in the published tests though.

Pressure is indeed important, and the effect readily measurable with a pyrometer. In fact you can feel by hand, straight after a track session, how even the temperature is across all the tread on all corners. This also gives an indication of how close your camber is to optimum for that type of running.

That's what the Subaru dealership put on mine prior to collection. My wife says they are crap in the wet but i've had no problems so far.
