I'm knackered

Please don't let us throw away the win. With one game drawn and a win possible in the game, that only leaves 3 matches left with them needing to win at least 2.

No pressure on Ponting then

KP was an absolute joy to watch last night, back to his very very best, the guy made the game look oh so easy, such exquisite technique at times, classy, and sublime.
Looks like he has sorted his head out so credit where credit is due.

We have won the Ashes my friends, the Aussies are dead and burried, having watched them at close quarters for 2 years they have got worse and worse still, we should breeze this series, withstanding groundsmen and dull pitches of course.

KP to hit a triple ton, Swanny to take a 10 fer

Ponting was out of ideas, panicky field placings that kp easily adapted to. As you say, some exquisite shots from kp and even Bell (and you know how much it hurts to admit that!)

Xavier Doherty has been useless and even the hat trick hero Siddle has done nothing.

Get another 50 on the board and let's get to the new ball and put them to the sword.

I've never seen a ball spin so much but end up going straight, neither had young Xavier. That's what you get for having a girls name mate

1-0

3 matches left and the Aussies have to win 2 of them. Doesn't look likely with the form they are showing at the moment.

England's 100th Ashes win.

Not a bad start last night was it

Shame they were allowed to fight back but they must have been panicking when the first 4 wickets fell and they did well to steady themselves.

Anyone dare to suggest a victory yet

The best of our bowlers from what I saw

Fantastic catch by our best fielder(and he has been for a number of years) to take Ponting.

Did you see the moment Johnson sniped at Jimmy "You're supposed to be taking wickets mate" next ball Jimmy obliges, turns to Johnson and puts his finger to his lips "Sshhhh" Quality

It was amazing. I hear the "catch of the series" competition is closed already

I had been thinking that there hasn't appeared to be as much sledging going on but just put that down to the Aussies generally being in a bad mood
