Clause 2.3 (to me), reads, if we cannot supply the goods, we can fall back on this clause to get us out of a corner!

2.3 Promotional codes are codes that enable customers to obtain benefits such as discounts, free delivery and free gifts. These codes are non-transferable so may only be used by the person to whom they are issued and must only be used in accordance with their terms and conditions of use. If you use a promotional code to claim a promotional benefit, you must first check that it was issued to you and that you are eligible to use it. By using it to claim a promotional benefit you will be confirming that:-
(i) you are entitled to use the code;
(ii) you meet all the conditions that apply to its use;
(iii) you agree to the terms set out below.
If, before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. If you transacted on a credit basis, the value of the benefit obtained may be charged to your credit account.

After reading on here, I checked and saw my order had been cancelled on Thurs 4th. Spoke to Woolworths today and was told the Paypal refunds were being sorted today and I'd receive an e-mail from Paypal.
Nothing yet.

If this thread gets to you so much, walk on by, or don't you have the intelligence to do that?

No need to answer, as I already know.

Probably best not to try and use "intelligence" as a put down in this thread, when people dont appear to have bothered to read any small print, and not bothered to listen to the numerous warnings.

Thumbs up Well done Amazon.

Ordered 2 copies on Sunday. Delivered this morning, even though I only used FREE super saver delivery.

I don't work for Amazon, other retailers are available, etc, etc.

^^Small print for you guys to practice on

I think some of the comments on here are a little out of place, and could be classed as trolling...

I read the warnings (over charging) and placed an order using Paypal which I am disuputing currently.

What I didn't know when I placed the order was the code was a Very Only code, ie not usuable on Woolworths site.

The order was accepted (which it shouldn't have been) cancelled with no warning and not refunded - I think that gives people the right to be annoyed.

I don't consider using Discount Codes a 'Scam'

Oh good so you know that I got my refund the same time as I posted they had cancelled my order.

A fool and his money are quickly parted - obviously you are speaking from experience there.

Blimey trolling on this site has really gone downhill.

Fair comment mate - it wouldnt be SN without the banter.

I would certainly recomend - however i dont feel its as polished as MW2, its feels a little clunky and the menus ect herald back to World at War (another treyarch prod).
One major niggle is you earn credits as well as xp and have to "buy" the weapons, additions and perks.

Plus some of the MP is set during the Vietnam conflict and i was runiing around with an SA80

Its a worthy addition but i still think MW2 is the benchmark.

Anyway back to the game must say its growing on me.

Peace out.

funny that, my store was number 2 in the division for the last quarter, beaten only by the trafford centre (which has 3 times the footfall)!

I clear the *** heads out so the real customers with decision making and spending power get my staffs time, they get good service, my staff get commission cos the customer bought something and everyone is happy, the chancers can **** off to the trafford centre!

This approach nhas been noted and approved by head office, the ps lewis's of this world are not welcome in my shop and a compaint wont do **** all about it, head office back me up lol!

why do people think they can complain to get a discount on anything, money saving expert is wrong most of the time dontcha know!

If you actuall make a complaint what do you think will happen, do you actually think it will have any impact on my job, errr no, head office will just send a amusing email about another ****** who has an issue with a 10 quid product!

why is it always the people who buy small things ahve the biggest problems, my business customerswho buy 10-50 products are always ok but mrs robinson from number 43 has to come in 5 times aday cos she doesnt understand anything about the insignificant purchase she just made, its these time wasting jokers who want an hour of my time (not a member of staffs) to be given lessons while i could be upstairs working an a new business venture.

People that want "customer service" need to wake up, we all have targets to hit and spending all day with an old biddy stops me from hitting them. I dont care about you i want to look after the people who make me money, the business buyers!

Company policy says i have to redirect any complaints to head office anyway trololololololol!
