How much labour does your guy charge to remove a engine?

13 hours is way too much mate.

Perhaps they quoted you that time/money so that it would put you off. Not all garages want to work with these types of car.

If I REALLY disliked someone I would offer to charge them at those rates...

LOL

dunx

P.S. Even fitting five took me all morning, but two are just "stuck" ontop of the dash board.

it was power station that fitted the gauges, complete and utter rip offs!! 60 quid an hour plus vat. they machined a flanged, fixed a number plate bulb, swapped my brake discs around and changed brake fluid, fitted 3 gauges(oil temp, oil pressure, water temp) which i pre mounted into the pod but i didnt mount the pod to the dash board,i baught them the correct sandwich plate for these, the petrol cap needed a spring and my speedo wasnt working. they charged me £200 for parts including converter for the speedo, brake fluid, antifreeze, wires, plug and the grease on my *** when they raped me.23 half hours labour to do just this 5 hours work, they had the car for 2 weeks blaming the machineist, when i went to pick it up the speedo still wasnt working so had to leave it there and go back again, still wasnt fixed so just gave them a piece of my mind and came home with no money at all, skint, broke, robbed, raped, butchered etc etc worst of all im a **** for giving them the money!!!!!!!

LOL... not really needed but still not 13 hours work... why didn't you do it yourself its easy, case of wiring from sensor through some holes in engine bay into car and then to gauges.

3 threads complaining about them by you this evening

You're either very upset, or just joined up here to slag them off.... or both.
