The R/R uses the AT/IT difference in adjusting the quoted power... if these temps are seperated by more than 3 degs it includes a correction... so by having 29 degs difference you can see by that time the correction (invented by the r/road, nothing to do with Iain's car power BTW) will be quite significant.. This is why Harvey is questioning the quoted 382..no other reason.
It just seems that if Big'D comes back with the same power with everything correct people will still say its not possible and there must be like Meth mix or something like that

Prob...

But he's done all he can at that point hasn't he...currently he's sat on a worthless piece of paper... in 5 mins he'll hopefully have something tangible to quote..and then discussions can continue!

Well are we sitting down.

It did not run 382.8 sorry guys it ran a 382.9 and my intake heatshield is rubbish my intake temp is very high. So do the math that's got to be 390+ at the fly.

Cheers Iain

well from from what i gather, 440's on standard 3bar normally see about 330/340 max, at 3.5 you should manage 350 safely, maybe a bit more depending on set up. obviously the 550's will give plenty of head room

VF28 always spools way ahead of VF35. I cannot give you specific figures.

thats fair enough do you think my spool figures look good for a vf28 for the setup?

I asked the question a stated because how you was coming across sounded to me IMHO that there was no way a VF35 could run 382.8bhp on just Vpower. Hence me asking the question.

Oh and there is know need to talk down to me like i'm a completed **** Whit i ask a simple question yet you went off on one.

(if i have taken they way you have come across to me wrong i appologyies but i'm sure using a smily might have made it more obvious how u was being in the response )
If you have read the thread from the beginning there is rather a lot you have not taken in and you are drawing conclusions on things, by your own admission, that you know nothing about.
You were impertinent previously so forgive me for not sparing your feelings. I don't think I can assist you further.

Yup well done but unless you know what the IT and AT are, your still not getting a correct figure, you will need to add correction to it, then there are the high inlet temps, that alone is cause for concern (unless the probe is floating around again).

I'm sure the graph will be up as soon as Big D gets back home to upload. Don't think he can do it on his phone.

I'm guessing by this that there is no blame on Subaru4U and they did everything correctly the first time round. The IT figure is a genuine one and you have an extremely hot engine bay, thus giving you a very high intake temperature? Am I correct? (trying to learn and understand - with an open mind).

I look forward to seeing the printouts.

The bhp figures will be posted live direct from the rollers lol.

Cheers Iain

We will just have to wait and see, there will be 2 sets of runs today one with the sensor as it was before next to the intake under the bonnet and another set with it removed from the engine bay, hopefully between the 2 sets of runs we can come to a happy conclusion.

Cheers Iain

probably around, 230bhp, a remap will see you around 250-260, a de-cat and remap 270, 280 is possible

Quick Reply: 382.8bhp from a VF35 :)
