Not the best pic but you get the idea (mine and Dicko's in the background):

Dave, id say mine is set lower than yours, but I can still see your rears are lower than the fronts, this has to be down to the rear arch extension.
So the car is still totally level, just set higher all over.

I may get the rears set higher when it goes in for the camber links, will ask him will it make the car handle odd if it had a lower front?
or get the whole car raised by 10mm.

Maybe the new suspension has settled now, I was told it would, therefore lowered a tad more.

Thanks for posting up the pics, very helpful

Oh cheers mate, nice to say so
Ok then, as far as I understand the mechanic couldn't get the rear camber below 1.75, needed to be 0.75/1, he described them as add one parts to some control arms (dont quote me on them names lol), this there fore gives you more adjustment. He's phoning me next week with pricing.

The other thing that you may wont to get is the rear extenders, these poke out from behind the rear seats so you can adjust the stiffness, without them its a rear seat out job.......makes it pointless having quick adjustment dial when it takes you 30mins taking the seats in and out aye, they are only £25.

Well i only got it back Friday night, and yes I love the improved handling. Why can't they come of the factory like this!.
A rear tweek might still be done, as I'm sure its beaded/settled in now.

Thanks for your nice comments to.

Definately raise the rear, Prodrive springs have always lowered the front more than the rear so the car is no longer 'level' as seems to be what you were aiming to achieve. Prodrive would have spent a fair bit on development so i'd assume there is a good reason for this

Also look at every motorsport series, from F1 to WTCC they all have negative rake...

Looking at the pics again on the laptop rather than a tiny phone screen it doesn't look as low at the rear, i'd say maybe try 5mm higher at the rear just to give it a little rake (is nose down positive or negative, can't remember ).

As a very *general* rule (with lots of clauses) having the front lower than the rear can help reduce understeer, which everyone will know is a party trick of a standard Impreza. Lower rear, less oversteer etc.

I'll try that, a 5-10mm raise on the rear, it won't make that much difference if any (that I will notice)but will help the looks more so.

I could do, but its really on the limit as to what I'd like the car to be and look like, with the front splitter on too, its pretty low as it is.

not sure who you are using at the moment but I'm sure an experienced outfit would help you get the best set up/look and therefor get added value out of your purchase.

I've had nothing bad to say about the garage I've used (30+yrs experiance tuning Jap cars). They have set the car up as I asked them to, being I wanted a 30mm drop, and they pre-warned me it may settle therefore sit a tad lower, whether it has or not? to which he said they can re-set it if I wish.
They have done me a very good fast road set-up, which works excellent I might add, front end is now planted round the bends.

It drive so much better, and the rears are only for looks IF I raised them, as I've said even in standard form the rears are closer than the fronts, that how they are made.

Over the moon with my purchase

LOL pyrotechnic, your the only one that said "LOWER IT", I would but it would take me ages to get about, dodging all the pot holes/drains/basically s**t roads lol.
Happy with the front height I think, tweek the back end, job done.

And that a very smooth, clean looking Impreza you have there are your rear arches rolled?

I bet I can find a few others that would say the same ;] But yeah, does make getting around a pain sometimes, it's never stopped me from getting anywhere though.

Yours is looking good though, massive improvement on the 'before' pics. If I was being picky I would agree on either raising the rear or lowering the front, but just a smidge.

Cheers All arches are rolled and flared.

Back, front. And you can get your flaps on the floor, but it's not advisable, I ripped on of mine off the other day...

Jon, thats a good looking Impreza you have, awesome in white.

Hard to see the rears with the blacks wheels, but I can maybe just see they are a tad higher than mine, fronts look very similar.
