You do realise they were actually talking about the invasion of their homeland by the hated English and how they are taking over their businesses and homes.

Just spent a week in the Canadian Rockies with a Welsh person in the Lodge.
Before flying out I think he thought that International Travel was crossing the Menai Straits onto Anglesey!
He arrived off the plane having flown over huge glacier parks and snow capped peaks and said...
...My, it's just like Wales it is!
Apart from the huge mountains, massive glaciers, endless lakes, boundless trees, huge fjords, gigantic rivers and friendly people. Mind you, Canadians turned out to be a little simple, like Wales

I spent 14 months in Canada and found the Canadians to be very pleasant people.
Very true that the Rockies are truly beautiful, especially in winter. Have to watch out for the black bears though-big and very insistent!
