well after getting my car mapped with the mods i listed at the beginning of the thread along with the sti8 tmic my car made 305bhp and 311 Lbs of torque, so i am very happy and the car pulls so much harder with super quick spool up thanks to the hybrid td04, the fact i got the top mount for £100 it was too good to turn down, dont know what power it would of made on the standard top mount but every little helps!

That's good useable power. I prefer the cars setup to have more torque than bhp.

BHP= torque X RPM/5252.

The BHP and torque produced and where they are produced in the rev range are generally determined by the basic engine characteristics. Bore and stroke ratio has a big influence. Tuning has a lesser influence but can be scewed slightly. Generally the more the boost the more the torque.
As you see from the formula above the BHP and torque produced are interrelated and influence by the revs at which the torque occurs.
Generally on a 2 litre Subaru the BHP figure will be a good bit more than the torque figure and by a substantial margin. If you want a higher torque figure compared to the BHP figure then you have to go for more capacity and a 2.5 litre can have similar torque and BHP numbers.

On a 2 litre car the maximum torque is generally 4,000 odd RPM and maximum bhp over 6,000 rpm.

All relating to flywheel figures.
