Car was built by scoobyclinic as a time attack/sprint car and is driven by mate Kevin Horsley who is leading the UK time attack championship (club Pro Class), engine was built 2 years ago from mainly left over parts from other build due to budget, A recent photo from Brands Hatch time attack where we got a win

I get to the use the car drag strip a couple of times a year, and earlier this year i ran a personal best of 10.16 @ 134mph at Santa Pod, being so close to a 9 second run, we decided to loose some more weight from car for the ten of the best competition last weekend, the car shed another 160lb, which helps but we had to run drag radial tyres (road legal) for this competion and not the MT drag tyres i ran last time.

1st run of the day was at 1.4 bar boost
10.59 @ 132mph with a 1.66 60ft
2nd run: boost was turned upto 1.6 bar + suspension tweek
10.27 @ 136 with a 1.63 60ft
3rd run: boost still at 1.6 bar + suspension tweek
10.20 @ 136 with a 1.60 60ft
4th run: boost turned upto 1.8 bar + suspension tweek + tyre pressures droped
10.17 @ 137 with a 1.57 60ft (but was getting misfire in 3rd and 4th gear)
decided to swap plugs, after pat checked datalogs
5th run: boost back down to 1.6 bar to check + tyre pressures droped
10.18 @ 135 with a 1.56 60ft
YouTube- MVI_0523.MOV
6th run: boost turned back upto 1.8 bar
10.00 @ 138mph with a 1.60 60ft
YouTube- 10.00 @ 138mph Scoobyclinic Impreza with GT30 Billet
7th run: boost still at 1.8 bar + tyre pressures droped
9.91 @ 132mph with a 1.53 60ft
YouTube- 9.91 @ 132mph Scoobyclinic Impreza with GT30 Billet
I got my first 9 second run but knew i could go quicker with a bit more boost, i should of stoped there but asked pat to put boost upto 2 bar
8th run: boost at 2 bar
9.96 @ 132mph with a 1.55 60ft (but slow 3rd gear change)
YouTube- 9.96 @ 132mph Scoobyclinic Impreza with GT30 Billet
9th run: boost still at 2 bar + tyre pressures droped
10.00 @ 132mph with a 1.53 60ft (but got a slight misfire in 4th gear)
YouTube- 10.00 @ 132mph Scoobyclinic Impreza with GT30 Billet
decided to have 1 last run (big mistake) due to 5 minutes left to cut of time for final and i only need to get 9.89 to qualify in 4th for eliminators
10th run: 2bar + tire pressures droped
got 1.52 60ft best of day but manley rod decided to exit the block

Car ended up being 6th overall on drag strip and missing out to 4th place by only 0.01 of a second and the 60ft on final run (1.52) was the fastest of the day.
the car is now being fitted with new built 2.6 engine and GT35r Billet for the time attack final in 2 months and hopefully i'll get to take it up the strip the weekend after.

Hi,
Scoobyclinic.

Mikee and Kev/bev drive it and organise the motorsport events we attend, our part of the deal is we built it and maintain it.
Later this year we have 6 scoobyclinc race cars doing the Birket endurance race at silverstone 30th oct, should be interesting.

Cheers
Kev
