Pilot for me too, I passed the assessment day at Oxford aviation but I could'nt get my hands on the 74k they wanted for course fees.
I think its the only thing I really regret in my life, If I had tucked my ***** away and taken a risk I could have got the money and by now I would be a commercial pilot.

I work in IT and generally find that there is no problem that I cannot solve (in my field).
I would like to do some sort of Forensic computing, digging about hard drives finding criminals, chasing money, hacking terrorist networks, that sort of thing. A bit like Salander in 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'.
The only reason I haven't done it yet is the old ball and chain called money.
Oh and in fear of shaking the boat, I would like to be a Pilot / Rally Driver etc.....

Most of my friends are pen testers, Its a really easy field to get into, plus the money is pretty good!!!!
I know that this is something that you can do if you already work in IT.

FireFighter - Passed the written and physical exams but didn't quite do well enough in the interview to get in the top 12 that they picked.
Passed all the tests to be a Retained FireFighter only for my employers to refuse permission for me to be able to attend calls after they said it would be ok !
I'd do anything to be able to get into the Fire Service but it's getting increasingly harder to get into in and i'm getting older !!
Stuck in a production job in a factory that I hate,pays not too bad but I just want a job that is worth doing
