So would there really be any interest in a group buy on Vredesteins?

I would be, but need them supplied within 2 weeks as then I "think" I might be on the legal limit by then... as GB's seem to take so ruddy long to get sorted I guess that would take me out of the listing...

Tried to buy some new wheels on Fleebay today - 2 sets of four up for sale with brand new SP Sports - got outbid on one set and the snipe programe I use failed to put the 2nd bid on, which at the value I entered would have won!.. Grrrr..... Pain in the a..e when those things go wrong... Elite only have two in stock, Camskill don't give any idea - just quote values and I can't find anyone else stocking them at the moment so even a GB might have problems getting stock...

Vredesteins seem to be in short supply at the moment

Let me know what Maggs comes back with, I asked him once before about Vreddys but he didn't come back to me.

I believe Mocom are an authorised supplier too, might be worth asking Zak if he can get a good price for multiple orders (supply only though I guess).

Thumbs up

So depending on supply time and price we could be looking at:

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta

Looie - 4 x 235/45/R17 (or 225?)
SirFozz - 4 x 235/45/R17 (or 225?)
Cocker - 4 x 225/40/R18

Anyone else?

I've put a thread up in the group buy section asking if any suppliers can do a group buy and also see if there is any other interest to boost numbers

Link to group buy thread

its always worth giving Steve a call at Leigh Tyres to see what he can do. He'd rather cut his arm off than let a customer walk away.

Maggs @ MSOC has just replied to my PM...

------------------------------------------

Hi looie

i just got a message from fozzy , i spoke to vredestein head office this morning about getting the sessantas , they are out of all the popular sizes completely and they are on a massive back order from everywhere . there is no eta on when they are coming in . i am waiting on there rep to come and see me this week to see what we can do about the situation as its frustrating not being able to sell them to people as camskills buy everything up pretty much . i worked out when i do get em i can compete and even beat their prices but its just getting the bloody things to begin with. i will keep you posted on progress with the rep and hopefully i can sort something out but untill then i dont think a group buy will be a good idea as all the popular scoob sizes are out .

regards

mags

So - looks like it might be a while then...

I've been speaking to Mags aswell Looie, give him a chance to speak to his rep.

I have other irons in the fire too. I've been speaking to Elite today and they are watching the group buy thread and already have some sizes in stock
